you are all missing the point, forget about personal agendas, he actually is correct.

yes oracle were merging with Melbourne because we only have about 40k members in a bottom out year, despite the medias best attempts to poo can us at every possible turn.  Sheedy can bash sand up his clacker.  LOL he couldn't work with the nuffers there?  He wanted senior coach but he didn't want to do the interview, thought he didn't have to explain his plan, just a wave of the jedi hand and everyone should know... :lol :rollin :whistle
Best he gets working on GWS Titanic  that should be their mascot, the titanic  :lol
Lots of people name their swords......

I dont think merging is the answer either, although heaps of positives would come out of it, but we wont go there.
With Sheeds, no doubt the AFL "'tapped "'him on the shoulder in regards to having him earmarked for the role at GWS.
And why wouldnt you take it, endless amount of cash and support from the AFL.

This article says more about the character of Sheeds than anything else:  Froars No More

 :gotigers

PS:  No doubt after we win that premiership in three years time, he'll come out and say he was trying to rev the club up  ::)

PSS:  Remember folks, it's all about Sheeds and nothing else  :banghead

Bitter much :nopity. How's Kepler, Johns and Mott going Sheeds?  :whistle

Very unprofessional too. Sheeds is now an opposition coach and should just worry about his own new club.  Imagine the fracas if Malthouse or Knighter came out with this crap.

As for merging  :chuck. Wow we'd lose our identity and history to gain a few Melbourne players. What happens in 10-15 years time when the Melbourne players gained retire and we're back to rebuidling via the draft as is the nature of the draft system. Just a moronic suggestion.

The only thing spot on in that article is Sheedy's use of hindsight to make himself out as some type of recruitment expert.

but Kev you thought we had a chance of winning the flag at the beginning of 2009? :wallywink

his made him self look like a bigger fool then i ever thought he was.
He has truely lost it and is very bitter about no1 offering him a job not even 2 bottom clubs like us and melb.
making comments like this is just going to make more people wanting GWS to fail.

we are dreaming

have to start somewhere jacko

When I watch Andrew Raines getting better and better each week ( 10 contested possesions last night ) and David Rodan held in high regard at Port,
Why cant we develop our young players ::)

Ramps, we are dreaming.
We wont play finals for at least 5 years, and that if we are still around.

That's in the past, can't do anything about it now

Rodan is hardly a world beater, no great loss there
Raines may be showing better signs at Brisbane, however it just goes to show how its easier to look a better player in a strong side

Yes, as Melbourne are hopless, they played one Ruckman, have no forward line structure and they still kicked 20 goals.  :banghead :banghead :banghead

I said half time Jack.  They had 8 goals to half time and in general play should have been behind.  Did you think we were pathetic to half time?
