The Coburg ressies - Griffiths, Westhoff in the goals.
Nason, Astbury.
Vickery is looking better.
Riewoldt is a handful for the oppositions best defender, wait and see the havoc he'll cause when he's the third option. Just needs to practice that kicking.

surely you could add nason to that list Jack? When he was prominent early we were still in the hunt and he presented and harassed all day. He also seems to have got over the nerves that affected his kicking in the first few games.

Nason
Moore
Astbury - confidence kicking three goals with no major impact.
Taylor - can play if Richmond actually kick it to him!
Martin - had a average match and will LEARN A LOT from that.
kicked 11 goals! (but gave away 20)
Hardwick trying new player positions; Hislop, Edwards - midfield, Deledio, Tuck, Cotchin - half back line.

Astbury and Nason only positives.

actually i have another 3.
Thats the fact that Hislop, Tambling and Edwards are one step closer to being given the flick by this footy club.

these 3 hacks couldnt get a root in a brothel let alone actually help win us a game

What about Taylor or Moore? And Tambling actually had a good game yesterday, but the new job he has obviously been given this year doesn't see him racking up possies so everyone seems to think he is just a dud who should be dropped the first chance we get - for what? Draft picks in a compromised draft? Ready-to-go midfielder from another club with proven performance.............in a team not ready to be competitive?

Richard Tambling may never be a star, he may never be a Richmond Legend ala Richo, Dyer or Hart, but he will be there in our next finals appearance and he will be a much more valuable player when the rest of the team improves. His tackling and his workrate this year has been outstanding and an example to everyone in the team, young or old.

Agree on Edwards - eff him off, no good. Need to wait till the end of 2010 on Hislop, see how he does in some other positions around the ground.

P.S. Get rid of Simmo - Graham and Browne may not win any clearances this year, but neither is Simmo so why keep him there?

Astbury is a find. His kicking for goal was very good. Taylor was good. He took a great grab and kicked a good roving goal. Nason is improving. Martin was very good in the first half. Moore played a very good game. Vickery tried hard. Tambling was playing okay in first half. Post was okay in defence. Good to see Hardwick is not going to drop any of the first gamers for new week. Before we lost intensity in second half we played okay particularly in second quarter, probably should have buried them in that quater. Jack presented well but did not kick very well

Fact 1.... The Richmond team contained 5 players who had played 4 games or less.
Fact 2... There were 9 players who had played less than 20 games
Fact 3...There were 12 players who had played less than 30 games---Im no Einstein, but I think thats half the team.

You mean Melbourne have Morton to come into the side?

Watts doesn't count because it's Melbourne's choice not to play him so he's clearly not in their best 22.

Gee, the Dees would want to hope Watts comes in and makes a real impact over the next few years. If not lets see if they cop as much crap for not selecting Natanui as we did with Buddy. Imagine how goods the Dees would be or even could be now with big Nick in their side....... scary.
