AFL scorelines are as lopsided as ever and that is a problem that the AFL has struggled to counter with rules and drafts. Thee fields are drier and flatter and the athletes are better so it rarely becomes a slog, the better team usually has won by the final change and piles on the points in the last.
His idea has merit, but a 45-minute half without stoppages would introduce another problem - time wasting.
