Port's summary of the ex-Tigers on their list......

Danny Meyer
Danny played half-back for the last six or seven weeks of the season and did a good job. Matty Primus has worked hard with him in terms of him being competitive and aggressive and we’ve seen that improvement. He played on the likes of Austin Wonaeamirri and also Cyril Rioli. He showed the potential we thought he had. He’s been in the system a long time now and really needs to make a decision if he wants to be an AFL player and find some consistency in his game.

David Rodan
Watching him come back from injury and play the way he did was remarkable. His work around clearances; ability to break away and his speed and agility is exciting. He’s still developing his game and needs to keep working on his transitional running to be a consistent performer, but we know how brilliant he is around the stoppages.

Jay Schulz
Schulz was one of the finds of the season. From round 13 onwards he kicked the fifth-most goals in the competition. He thrived on not having a Matthew Richardson or Warren Tredrea around him and has the ability to be our key forward for the next five years. It’s really just up to Jay whether he wants to do it.

Meyer has been promoted off Port's rookie list today. So Port now have 3 ex-Tigers on their senior list.

They're struggling.

Don't send anyone to Port.  I don't want to see anyone else go there so they can kick multiple goals every week. :help

They will probably draft Jordy Mac and he'll be All Australian next year. ;D

I reckon our coaches were writing similar things about Meyer and Schultz 3-4 years ago "it's up to them if they want to make it".
Someone should throw some straws at Matty Primas
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

Polo looks to be on the outer at the Saints as well. Dropped this week.

Played ok but totally spoiled it with a few shocking turnovers. Could be the end for him. Similar game to Andy Collins last ( and possibly final ) game for Carltank.
Tiges did the right thing getting rid of both those guys

Tambling and Polo back in this week for the Crows and Saints respectively. It could be their last chance for both of them.

Don't think so for Tambling - they gave him an extended contract when they traded for him  ;D

You'd reckon they'd give him another year unless he's really horrible for the rest of 2011
They've just been given a big financial chop out from the AFL so they might cut their losses ?

l'm sure he will go around again, l really hope he comes good & can show the talent he had as a TAC player.
l think becoming a father very early in life has played a major role in not rising to the level & consistency staying there. You dont see many 18 year old fathers in League football.
In fact l cant think of any other player who has.
