Clutching at straws here but Geelong beat Port by 95 pts (and they are in the eight)
not clutching at straws, the word is perspective
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Deledio will be the next Ottens mark my words
We be best to trade him

then we might as well shut up shop TM.

Does anyone down there have an idea where to play him.

Actually does anyone down there have an idea where to play any of our players. Each player has played in about 3 plus positions in each game this year, except for Thursfield and Simmonds. What a joke :banghead :banghead

yeah floppy jumper  ;D has lost the plot gone backwards
and Simmonds omg  ;D needs someone to stand flat footed beside him while sides man us up
Let me down there to coach them.  l swear l cut some of there heads off never to be seen again
Could set up a attacking side in the first hour l be there

Hardwick has no idea.
A suburban coach like Mick McGaune would have better idea.

We should stop searching for positives from every week as perspective will show that players for the most relapse into poor form or habits.

A more telling question - what are the positives of weeks 1-6 this season

* Martin
* Nason
* Cotchin showing he is still on the path to becoming a gun

Seriously that is almost it. No semblance game plan. Players with skill are soft, hard players no skills. Still struggle with big bodied forwards. Our own forward structure lacking.

How far did you get in the selection process Jack?
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

Not in the first half they weren't.  They whacked our blokes more physically than they have been whacked so far this season.

yep they did indeed but geelong weren't "on" so to speak imo, they punished our poor skills with ease but didn't really go geelong berserk like the have in the past

Your right players are reverting back to what we have seen under Wallace

You cant play football against any side if you continue to hold up play
The Wayne Campbell type football does not work in todays football

axe Wayne Campbell.  l bet some are surprised but so what,  its a fact.  There is a serious Ruck \ Midfield problem.

put Simmonds on the LTIL, pay him out & promote Gourdis.

Cant teach midfielders if they dont have a 100% ruckman

I don't know why your crapping on Simmonds from that game, just habit?
His stats are not bad for a Ruckman not only did nearly ALL of it against Ottens and Blake, he racked up a decent amount of disposals and his efficiency was 79%, he used his strength and body well and mixed it up in there in a lost cause so I cant for the life of me see where your pulling your criticism from, the poor bastard is pushing poo up hill.  P.S. Ottens had bugger all disposals and only 44% efficiency but he did beat him for hit outs, Blake had 3 and only beat him by 4 for Hit outs.  Vickery had 6 hit outs, 10 disposals but excellent efficiency @90%

you must be joking right?

10 extra hit outs means a lot didnt you watch the same game.

You can bet your hard earned that Ottens laid more tackles than the black belt fool also.

We need to try Browne, we just have to find someone else. because Graham and Simmo aint the answer
