Sounds like a positive for me was that I didn't see any of it.  :lol

I was busy today.

I never used to be too busy for the Tigers.....

Today was as bad as I have seen.
Lack of effort,
Players refusing to pick up opponents.
And players walking down the ground.

yep I said it in another post and i'll say it again, this was by far our worst performance of the year for mine, took nothing from that and if Geelong had of been on then we would've lost by 200. If Hardwick doesn't flog them for that pitiful effort this week, he runs the rsk of running down the same path as his predecessors ie those selfish imposters will think they can get away with pretend efforts again.

I accept losses due to lack of skill/gameplan but as a paying supporter I refuse to cop that sortof effort and non-commitment anymore, better do someting about it dimma, go hard or go home tiges.

Tuck was a positive today, he got 38 disposals today, 21 contested possies, 6 marks and his efficiency was 76%.  Definitely turned up, to play.

Would agree, although its a team game.
He has 21 team mates who just didnt put in.
Rance and Dea are totally useless. Might as well play with 20 players

Sometimes with Tuck I feel because his disposal is suspect the opposition doesn't seem to worry too much about a tag as he usually gives it back and therein lies the problem with some of our ball winners.

Lids had about 30 today as well and he had no impact either whereas others have less stats and really hurt you. That for me is the most worrying aspect for me that when your most prolific ball winners on the day share 70 possessions but do not hurt the opposition. Seems a bit wasted to me unfortunantely. We just have to suck it up and persevere with the kids and Dimma as that is the only remedy at this stage.

Blind man Freddy knows that Lids should be used in the corridor.
Instead we play him off half back :banghead
There lies a huge problem

Sometimes even in the midfield I find Lids does not have an impact in his stats until after the pace and sting in the game has gone out. I feel that therein lies the problem with him and not the coach. He has played over 100 games and he has yet to grab a game by the scruff of the neck and shake it violently put it in a deathroll and then drown it and he is supposed to be our leader and match winner. To me therein lies the problem not where he is playing as he has been tried up forward in the middle and off half back and he has yet to deliver an imprint of any substance.

Agree with owl about Tuck. Also accept what Tuckerbag is saying. Agree that our possessions need to hurt the other side. The problem is that we play most of the game in our defensive half. Jack kicking three goals deserves some credit

one of the smartest posts ive read. :thumbsup

i can handle the fact we are playing youth, i can handle the fact Dimma is in his first year. no issues there.

what i cant handle is half hearted attempts at tackling & shepherding and Dimma better do something about i as you said he will end up soft coaches like the other 2 hacks before him. He came with a reputation on playing hard ball things like if you cant kick you wont play well???

Daniel Jackson 6 clangers among 15 possy's yet how that justifies selection astounds me. Simmons my dear god retire him now. If we can dump Gaspar mid year i cant understand why we cant dump Simmo.

We need promote Gourdis or search long and hard to find our own Barlow or Pods.

sorry Tucker i dont agree.

He cant do it on his own you know, much like Jack R in our forward 50.

What i cant understand is everyone is quick to jump on Lids because he is not the "match winner" we all want him to be.

He is thrown around from the tanned one and now Dimma in all different positions so it must have some sort of effect. It cant go on he needs 1 position!!!

What baffles me most is everyone is quick to bash Lids but no not Tambling he does everything right.

Only positives for mine was the Captain's game - very good, Polo's game - he got thrown around but seemed to the be only really prepared to go with Stevie J and Edwards - thought he was Ok to good

Was disappointed early on with Tuck - probably stuck with most of the day, hence why i've marked him as average.  When he was thrown on Chapman gave him far too much freedom IMH

The only other positive I didn't get abused by any of the ferals down there.  ;D

Deledio will be the next Ottens mark my words
We be best to trade him

Just got home.
NO POSTIVES what so ever.
Lids being played out of position.
Hardwick HAS NO IDEA

Astbury and Nason were positives. Could you open your eyes enough to notice?  8)
