Damian Hardwick was caught speeding 20km over the limit last night. The police officer who pulled him up said "that will be a $250 fine and four demerit points", Hardwick replied "i'll take any 4 points i can get!"

Stupid post.

At least he's not coach of Nth Sunshine who lost by 400 points on the weekend.

Sources around the club have alluded to Jackstar kicking the Sherrin like a lady.

Can anyone confirm or deny these reports.

OK Hardwick is crap we get it.

But rank the other 15 coaches for us...

Just so we know who to chase.

Personally I think we should aim for Carlo Ancelotti.

This amounts to bullying and mental disintegration. It's getting tiresome. 7 games into a minimum of 66 game contract. Take a step back please.

I don't understand how you can be so degrading of a new coach after only 7 games and with the youngest list in the league to put out on the paddock? We all knew this would happen but I think we all hoped it wouldn't. Now that reality has hit and hope is all but gone we are all looking to blame someone but Jack Hardwick is not the target you should be pointing the finger at.

Hardwick is not about winning games this year. If we do it is a bonus not an absolute must. Hardwick is foremost a teacher, he is their to develop and educate our young list. Everyone is having to not only start from scratch but also attempt to erase what they had had ingrained in them for over 5 years. You mentioned some players have gone backwards, well this is why. Existing players are not playing by instinct but rather relearning how to play and what to do. Instead of focusing on attacking they are asked to prioritize defense. it is chalk and cheese and will take more than 7 games to learn. Magnify this by a plethora of experienced players and add a large group of raw recruits and you find the reason why our ship appears rudderless at the moment.

Patience is not an easy pill to swallow especially when the last batch we given gave us the runs but it is the medicine we must take in 2010. Our new coach is just trying to build up a strong foundation of skills and individual strategy at the moment. He has to find out who can play and how we can best play as a group. If he follows Wallace's lead and tries to save face with a few meaningless wins this year then what does that achieve?

Hardwick needs time and judging him on his win/loss record or even our game plan is far too premature. We all need to step back, give him and the list time and measure his success as a coach on the development of players and the team as a whole after a lot longer than 7 games!

Is there a point to this thread or just another chance for the forum wolves to circle the walking carcus of Hardwick?? I just can't believe this.

Hardwick has a 3 year contract - hes a long way away from having his coaching career curtailed. Everyone would do well to get in and Support the coach. I hope hes still coaching us in a decade!

Yep I am with you Ramps!! We need a long term coach that will set us up for sustainable excellence, despite the continual Hardwick knockers I think he has a lot of support. He certainly has support from where it counts, the true supporters, Members and the RFC!!

It's pretty amusing. im pretty upset too, i mean i had us pegged for a top four spot. i expected hardwick to have the easiest and most unbeatable gameplan instilled after game one of the NAB cup. I also expected that Cotchin would be unbackable for the brownlow at this point, and for Griffiths to be 35 goals in front in the coleman medal race... I also expected that our fourteen new players would instantly be better than those that had played this professional sport for many more years.

Mate, egg on my face...

Lets get rid of hardwick now, and try out new coaches for each round for the rest of the season. first one to win gets the job for the next 20 years.
