It's taken Harvey 7-8 years to get Freo playing Good football.
Does that mean he needed 8 years or does it mean he had no idea for the first six?

Important to answer this correctly as it mirrors our current situation in as much as it "may take a couple of years to sort out the situation out, but they are definitely on the right track."

For one thing-the definition of the right track from our current situation is to sift thru the list, find out what new blood is dud blood, fire the old duds, fire the dud coaches, implement multiple game plans designed around our good players strengths and win a game.

Yes it will take time.
Yes Jak is premature in his sak Dickwick campaign.
Is Jak right about the coaching being uncomplimentary to our list -yes!
Do we have a bufoon or two on the coaching panel - yes.
Is it fair to question the current gameplan - pretty much yes, as there isn't one - that's how far away we are from anything.

I mean,FFS - They're using stats from 1955 - lol :scream

As for the headline "Patience the key, say Tiger greats "
yeh.........we stuffin know that boys.
However, the other parts of the key haven't even been made yet.

So many suckhole prix on here who actually think their word is gospel because as far as they're concerned they are supporting the club in a better way than those who care to complain.

You dogs are the bastard children of 30 years of cowardly on-field failure.
You would have been too scared to have even gone to a game when GR was president for fear of facing a world of ruthless truths.
He wouldn't have like you girls. :-* :-* :-*

Having said that,i think bringing University back would be great for Victorian AFL :clapping

Of course it's fair to question the game plan, if you know what it is.

Just because you cant see it, doesnt mean it doesn't exist, just that the players cant execute it yet.

On the other hand, if there actually is no game plan, if hardwick is not trying to implement any game plan into the team, then it's not too early to call for his sacking and the sacking of any person involved in his appointment. I mean after all have they really appointed a coach without a gameplan?

All those interviews in the selection process, and not once was hardwick asked what his gameplan was?

Perhaps anyone been to training can answer if they appear to be training to a purpose, or do they just do kick to kick and circle work?

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

allow me to rephrase for your enjoyment.

unable to transcend his "intiial" game plan(watever the it was - Clarskon Copy??) to the current climate of continual defeat, thus far!
therefore, his game plan hasn't been achieved and subsequently never been played,
so as far as a his game plan goes - it doesn't exist other than in his head or on a computer.
It isn't working with the coaching, especially on match day.

We can't sack him lmaoo!
Imagine - AGAIN!
The worst part is....he may well be a dud and we're stuck with him.
If he picks up idiot recruits end of year then we're gawwwwnnnnnn.

University in
Richmond out.

The Henry Rollins of OER has spoken. Who the eff are you to judge and call posters girls?
What gives you the right to mention Graeme Richmond in your post, you reckon he'd be pleased to be associated with your dribble?
What credentials do YOU have in judging or rating our coaching panel.
Still, an entertaining read.

Very Colourful.

As Infamy said its Harveys 4th year. Not 8th.

You say you complain, yet don't give any remedy's. You say we're bastards of failures over 30 years. Yet your remedy's are simply to bag the coach and call for the coaches head - The band aid fix for the past 30 years. Hm?

No1 is success without learning from mistakes you've previously made. Hardwick and this group will make many more to learn from. Get used to it.

Give me directions to your fantasy world where there lives a coach that can be appointed to come in and turn this list into a Premiership team in their first year. It's past your bedtime OX, good night.

Which is a much more intelligent statement than moronically saying "There is no game plane".
As you've stated yourself, It's still to early to judge Hardwick.

The statements about how we are currently the worst performed team in 50 years(or whatever it was) are valid and an indication of how bad we are.

Hardwick and his assistants are currently spending as much time, if not more, as teachers as coaches. This is why he has been coaching from the boundry (until the adelaide game).

Eff me, they are not only having to teach the basics that the good sides take for granted and do without thinking to the youngsters, but also to the senior players. That is how far behind the rest of the comp we are starting.

Until these things start to happen consitently, across the field, we will only get glimpses of the gameplan.

Even then, for those of us watching the games only on the TV it will be difficult to determine exactly what that is.

Hardwick, and others, have said on numerous occasions this may take 6 months, or it may take 2 years to click, but they will not be taking any shortcuts.

Until then, like it or not, we don't have any real choice but to be patient. Whining like spoilt little rich school girls who didn't get that designer come-eff-me dress they wanted for their birthday is pointless.

Whether we like it or not we have to be patient - We dont have options - Richmond has to make good recruiting decisions and unfortantly life does not come with a rewind button, we just cant do anything about the past.
