Funny that you should mention that Tucker, because I saw Benny in the crowd at a Pixies concert at the Myer Music Bowl three years ago, and asked him the very same question.
He laughed off the suggestion back then, so I can't see him warming to it now.

Astbury, Griffiths and Taylor could all develop into dangerous forwards to support Jack but the probability is that only one or two of these will and only after a similiar time frame that Jack himself has followed (3-4 years). Until then players such as Morton, Rance and even Polak are important for Jack's development and our teams current success. Gus proved last week that if we had someone of his size down their taking the focus slightly off Jack it helps immeasurably. Many have said it on here but why not bring Browne in along with Gus and Vickery and you have a forward, a resting ruckman and a ruck all rotating in one side.

Astbury will be a gun like Reiwoldt  
I don't think Reiwoldt did much in tiger colours in his first year. Astbury is just finding his feet. Both are very similar players. Smart, good leap and mark, 195cm tall, good on both feet. When Griffiths arrives, our forward line will terrorise opposition defences especially once Morton comes back a better defensive forward and Taylor finds his feet. Teams will be pooing their pants containing this forward line:

FF: Morton Griffiths Reiwoldt
HF: Taylor Astbury Nason

Once Post find his feet he'll take CHB and Gourdis may hold down another spot in defence. Thursty and Mcguane will keep working on the weights and become better players. Mcguane needs to kick long more often and he'll cut errors out of his game. Connors will boost the defence and I think Tambo has to play in defence again instead of being wasted up forward. This will allow Lids to play midfield again. Defence should look like this:

HB: Connors Post Mcguane
FB: Newman Thursfield Tambling
with Gourdis coming off the bench

How we could do with his contested marking, bullocking work around the ground, clever hit outs and goalkicking. Boy would that be sweet.

Another forward to support Jack would be nice but what I would like to see is our midfield kick some goals. I watch almost every other team, especially the top sides, and their midfields kick plenty.

Maybe the coaches plan is to work on the players defensive skills and the offensive skills will come in time. We don't seem to have any goalkicking midfielders other than lids and he is playing across halfback this year.

Either way... NO!
We already have Riewoldt, plus Griffiths & Astbury in development for the forward line, that's quite a few talls to fit in as it is.
We should get another class tall with Pick 4 this year, hopefully Day but possibly Darling.
So we focussed on the forward line with last year's draft, we need to focus on best available with Pick 4, then defence and midfield with the rest of our picks. No trading our picks away for recycled players! We need to trade away our middle of the road players for more picks!
