Everyone is a comedian
« on: May 26, 2010, 10:14:39 AM »
Timmy Watson brought up this morning about the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra doing a concert of AFL club songs and Matthew Lloyd chips in with "it'll be the only chance Richmond supporters will get to hear their theme song".

The comedic talents of Matthew Lloyd can now be mentioned in the same breath as Jerry Seinfeld and Will Farrell.

I think Seinfeld is just suffering from high repeat overkill. But if you're talking UNFUNNY, Adam Sandler would have to be at the top of the list with all his fourth grader pee-pee,poo-poo jokes.

Why are we looking overseas for comedians to bash

Rove, Peter Hellier, Dave Hughes, Wil Anderson etc etc

If you are looking for a good comedian though look up Louis CK on youtube.

John Blackman on 3aw tonight....

What's the difference between Melbourne Storm and Richmond?
Nothing - they both play for zero points each week

Richmond - 12 years into a 10 year plan

I have a particular disdain for musical acts - scared little weird guys, tripod, daas etc etc

I think John Blackman started following Richmond when his old side Fitzroy got the chop. It's okay for us to laugh at ourselves. It eases the pain of everybody else laughing at us.
So here goes: What's the difference brtween Richmond and a square?
                    A square has four points.

Actually I thought Will Ferrell was at his funniest in "Night at the Roxbury", "Anchorman" and also the kids soccer movie "kicking and screaming" but he does run hot and cold and has been in some terrible movies, most notably Bewitched.
