Graham has strung 3 good games together.

It's upto Vickery and Browne to step up also.

Our midfield is looking quite good ATM.

Astbury and Riewoldt are looking the goods and throw in Griffiths and the future all of a sudden is looking a little more rosier.

Edwards is our most improved player on the list this season. :thumbsup

both are very young for ruckman ..

Shocking decision. In a game in the wet they let it flow but a bloke who aint letting another bloke get up and then get the free when a team mate pushes him out the way is just about where the the umpiring fraternity sit with the general public these days.  :help

Webberley have a shot mate in hindsight. Up 45-16 at half time. :thumbsup

Lol that was the worst reversal decision you'd ever see. I sat right at that forward flank and lost it! :banghead In saying that I thought the umpires generally umpired really well for wet weather footy.

Just got back from my first trip to AAMI.... Wow what an experience lol. South Australians are... different.

One of the most enjoyable days of spectating I can remember. Wet weather footy, the pies and jam donuts were hot. Reminded me of old Waverley days.  :)

We had a huge crack.

Don't know how it looked on the TV but at the ground things that were obvious.

Cotchin and Martin's first qtr was first class. Martin is a monster. Loves the don't argue has Michael Voss written all over him.

Deledio was the cleanest player on teh ground all day. Everything he did was clean and he stood out like a sore thumb. Hitting tagets 30+ metres away and took the ball with 1 touch.

Matty White was amazing. Don't think he lost a 1 on 1 contest all day and his run and carry set up so many scoring shots.

Farmer and Moore was suberb down back. Farmer especially had a crack all day. Showed with his head in the right place, with some confidence and expereince he can play. Moore posistioned himself so well all day.

Tuck was as good as ever. Suited him game perfectly and stood up.

Cousins best game of the year, made a big claim for a spot next year. Just oozed experience, didn't have the pace or distance in his kicks but showed why he's got as far as he has with some great decision making possessions.

Graham contested all day. Beat Trengrove in the ruck and for a big man has to be one of the best wet weather games in the modern day. Amazing effort.

Newman was fantastic as was McGuane, Nason and Nahas.

Jack was good kept presenting not a day for a KPP but kept trying and 4 goals is a huge effort. Might have liked to have seen him pick up the ball a bit more. In the stands it didn't look great but it payed off. 14 goals in 3 weeks. Seeing its nearly the world cup an appropriate sledge would be = Shhhhhh!..

And the guy taht deserves the most prasie:
Damien Hardwick. Just got the job done. He's notciably tried many different things this year which is absolutely what you ask for but some nuffies see it as a bad thing. Had the right game plan for wet weather footy and it paid off. Deserves the most credit as he's copped slop towards his game plans and tactis this year.

Development is going well and long term it looks bright. I don't expect to beat the Hawks next week but we'll keep improving and the light is getting closer.

Great win! I'm still sick from celebrations... :gotigers

I was wrapped about the win!! :cheers :gotigers

The parts of our game I was most excited about was the way our young midfielders won the hard ball and how our side kept fighting, scrapping, tackling and putting their bodies on the line all day. Martin and Cotchin were amazing, inspired by the efforts of Tuck no doubt. Riewoldt has all of a sudden turned intto the forward we all hoped he would. Astbury and Griffths look the good too in the short time I have seen them - just showed skills to show us they have super potential.

Nason and Nahas played their small man role in these sort of conditions perfectly. McGuane, Moore and Farmer were hard at it and defended individually and as a unit beautifully. Lids and Newman were clean and used their super boots sublimely. The kick it long to a forward contest seems to be paying off for us in recent weeks as we just don't have the decision making skills or confidence to execute a string of pinpoint short passes down the ground. Kepp playing to our strengths I say and back players like Griffiths (that mark was amazing over C. Cornes and their ruck), Astbury, Jack and Graham to take the big contested grab.

White looked like he ws running on perfectly dry ground while the opposition were slipping and sliding in their attemtps to catch him. Great game and has really stepped up lately.

Graham was a champion and while rucking against a 2nd grade ruckman, you can only compete who you're matched up against each week and he killed him.

Proabably the only two IMO who, while fighting and using the same endevour as the rest of the team, didn't have the same impact on the game as the rest - King and Collins. King looked like he had dived into a mud pool but didn't do a huge amount while Collins was almost unsighted for mine all day.

I'm thrilled that my little fellow also got to sing the song this year! Keeping him upbeat and loyal each week has become a challenge but a win gives me weeks of credit to call upon.  :thatsgold

And I lost count of the number of times I saw Tambling arise from the bottom of a pack/contest.  An important observation for a number of reasons.

Has been the main focus of his role for the team this year smokey.

I'll say until I am blue in the face (and I was yesterday it was bloody cold in Adel yesterday  :P ;D) sometimes it isn't about the number of kicks & handballs. You get a given a job by your coach and you do it - simple as that

This was IMPO the best team effort and individual performance by nearly all players that I have seen from the RFC in many many years. Really they were 100% committed to the cause, they were hard and played with all the guts in the world.

Please back it up next week boys.
