McGuane was shocking tonight, I think we need him in to play on Kennedy, but if he has another bad one then time to send him back to Coburg for a spell. Morton should go straight back to Coburg too, clearly hasn't learnt much in his time down there

After a 40 point loss there will be plenty in line to be dropped to bring in Jackson, Moore, Connors, Griffiths & Foley

No matter who WC have, McGuane should be dropped if we are fair dinkum about discipline. Between Moore (if fit), Thursfield, Polak, Post and Astbury we should be able to cover their talls.

And as far as 40 point losses go, it wasn't a bad one. We were beaten by their transition and Milne.

Will be interesting to see how our midfield and hb line goes next week. If foley comes back we will field our strongest midfield/running group of the year
and given the eagles have a somewhat slow and mediocre midfield there is an oppurtunity to do well , perhaps even dominate..

The Eagles are doing well tonight sticking with Geelong to half-time. They've actually dominated the clearances against Bartel, Ablett, Selwood and co. West Coast's away form though has been pretty ordinary to say the least and they've just lost their main tagger Adam Selwood with a shoulder. He could miss next week.

Yeah the title of this thread is a bit premature.  West Coast are to be respected as much as any other side imo.  We have still got a lot of hard yards to go before we can start locking in those boasts lol.

Yep a side that is 1-10 shouldn't be expecting 10 goal wins lol. In saying that with Axel, Jacko, Connors and probably Griffiths coming back into side then we should put a stronger line-up on the park next week and it's a very winnable game.

I don't think we will win by 10 goals but I do believe this is a very winnable game.

West Coast have recently come to the G and have beaten Melbourne. IMHO we'll give a better account of ourselves than what Melb did and the game will be a cliff hanger with either team winning by less than 10 points.

Agree with the sentiments not to get too carried away. Drop Nahas, Farmer, White and possibly Nason. Bring in Moore, Foley,Connors and Griffiths. If Taylor okay should be in the mix as well

Don't agree with dropping White or Nason, mudfest would of tired a few players out at aami but can't punish Nason for one quiet game imo.  I think White should get another go too, he can be deadly and was not that bad.  Nahaas, yeah he is a bit inconsistent.  Morton lost atm.  I think we can win this one too.
