Odds:

Richmond 1.83  :o

West Coast 2.00

Preview: Richmond v West Coast

WHO WILL WIN AND WHY?
The Tigers have the better recent record with a win a couple of weeks ago, although the Eagles pushed the Cats for three quarters at Subiaco last week. Expect the Tigers' midfield to get enough ball to Jack Riewoldt and the other Tiger forwards to kick a winning score.

PREDICTION:
Tigers by 21 points  :o

I don't feel we deserve the favourites tag this week. We've shown a bit lately but if WC shut Riewoldt out of the game that's most of our scoring potential gone. I think we have the better midfield but weaker ruck which should even out the centre contest. I'd like to be confident but I can't manage it at the moment... :-\

it will be very hard for WC. Not even the saints back line could do that  :thumbsup

Bookies are going to suck alot of Richmond fans in who'll part with their hard earned only for the Eagles at $2 being thieving money.

If I recall correctly the Eagles were in the vicinity of $3 when they played Melbourne at the G who had won 3 on the trot and had lost unluckily to the Dogs in round 7.

As much as it pains me I think the Eagles are certs. I hope I am terribly wrong.  :pray

I think if Glass comes back and plays well that would be important but if Foley and Jackson hit the ground running... I think we should be favourites but far from confident

Hardwick's call to arms

Richmond coach Damien Hardwick has urged Tiger fans to create a hostile environment for the travelling West Coast Eagles at the MCG on Sunday for the Round 12 battle.

The Tigers are coming off a month of solid performances, including a win against Port Adelaide and a narrow three-point loss to Hawthorn.

They play 14th-placed West Coast at 1.10pm on Sunday, in what will be the Club’s last home game until the Round 14 clash with Sydney on July 4.

“We would love to see a huge turn-out of Richmond fans at the G on Sunday, to give the boys really strong backing,” Hardwick said.

“The West Coast supporters are renowned for creating a cauldron-like atmosphere at Subiaco, so we want to recreate the same sort of thing at the MCG.

“We’ve got the most passionate fans in the league, and we want to make it as uncomfortable for the Eagles as we can by filling the stands on Sunday with Yellow and Black.”
