Tigers unlikely to re-sign Cousins
CAROLINE WILSON
July 7, 2010

His overdose in the early hours of Monday had not involved regular sleeping medication such as Temazepam or Stilnox - the latter used as a mixer with Red Bull so infamously in rugby league circles last year to gain an ecstasy-like high - but was a prescribed sedative to regularly help him sleep.

This comment is downright evil. Why even bring this up? Just trying to link him to 'an ecstasy-like high' or some illegal relapse of some kind when nothing of the sort occured. Just a nasty b&^%$!

But Cousins spent the best part of Monday unconscious in hospital and was only released from Epworth's intensive care unit at dawn yesterday. He has missed Monday's rehabilitation session and training yesterday, and the Tigers have a six-day break before meeting the Dockers. Surely such an engagement would have torn hamstring written all over it.

She is praying to her dark powers that Cousins fails and if he plays well more egg on the face for the witch. Ever since she was made to look like a fool 'outing him' for alcohol issues that were completely denied by the club she has made Cuz her new Eddie. She is hoping he gets a hammy and then she will have more to undermine his character with. A sad woman who can never admit when she is wrong...

The problem is that she is postulating without any evidence. Without speaking to Ben's treating doctor which I doubt she has she has no right to speculate at all.

The article was embarrassing. I'm amazed the editor let the "over dose" through to print. Sue her ample backside off Cuz, hold her to account for a change.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

Jon Ralph and Hutchy could also be seen as further evidence that women should not discuss football!
Btw, it is sexist to suggest that women should not discuss footbal :thumbsup

because he did overdose on the sleeping pill, so the age and caro are safe and they knew it

Ben is great. I have struggled with alcoholism and cannabis addiction for years. Ben for me epitomises the struggle that many people suffer in everyday life. He is a champion in my eyes for more than his on field skills.  :clapping

i agree, just bec ppl have issues to deal with in life does not mean they are bad or we have to alienate them.

i hope the rfc treat ben better than what the eagles did and he plays on
