Attention All OERites:

Thanks to a super generous offer by 632 RFC one lucky OERite has the opportunity to attend the Player Club Locker Viewing night being held on Tuesday 20th July 2010 at 6.00pm.

As part of 632 RFC's Player Club membership there is an inner sactum experience which enables player sponsors access to the Player Rooms at Punt Road to view their names on their Player's Locker

As 632 RFC lives in Perth and cannot attend the evening 632 RFC has offered the night to another OERite

We have done this previously and we've decided to run it the same as last time.

The lucky winner will be decided by fellow OERites has we look for OER's "Post of the Week".

The "Post of the Week" can be about anything, in any thread and off any board.

Any OERite can be nominated

All we ask is that if you see a post that you think qualifies as a top quality post (NB: without any abuse of other posters) then post either the actual post here or post the link so everyone can view it before 2.00pm (AEST) next Wednesday 14th July.

From there will we call for people to pick which they think is the Post of the Week by 2.00pm (AEST) Thursday, from that feedback we will have a winner

The winner will be contacted via PM and they will then have to pass their details onto 632 RFC to enable you to be booked in with the RFC by COB on Friday 16/7/2010.

Just on the night itself; drinks & finger food will be provided and they usually have a couple of players there as well as a couple of the coaches

There's been some gems this week

Here's a few nominees that made us laugh and made a helluva lot fo sense:

1/ tony_montana on Matty White

i reckon his last 6 weeks have been his best collectively. I have never been a fan, but fairs fair he's turned the corner and is now a genuine contributor to the side, plays within himself, understands his limitations(and strengths!) and plays to them

http://oneeyed-richmond.com/forum//index.php?topic=11233.msg197504#msg197504

2/ A whacketty whack to yours truly about Dan Connors by crannyvegas  ;D

What are your expectations of this kid?? 35 touches 71% efficiency and a nice goal. Pick 58 and playing his 17th game, a project player who is more than coming on and adding to the team.  He takes risks and makes mistakes and you get that but he has the ability to rip the game open with his vision, dare and ability. How about you let a couple of mistakes go and just leave it at, he had a good game.

3/ From mat073 - we're with ya  :thumbsup

Those journo parasites were half right....We are the new Fitzroy, however not the Lions circa 1996.

We are Fitzroy circa 1984......In that particular year Fitzroy were stone motherless last after round 9 with a record of 1 win and 8 losses. They turned it around to be 11/11 after round 22 and snuck into the five on percentage.

Sure I might be suffering from delusions of grandeur...We cant possibly win 6 of the next 7.(can we ?)

Just really enjoying the ride atm.

4/ yellowandblack - on Saturday's win

We have been poor most of the year during the 3rd quarter.
Last night it was the 3rd qtr when we worked ourselves into the game, won the qtr and hit the front and never looked back.

I hear Harvey thought the interchange infringement was a "big penalty" virtually implying it cost them the game.

We would've won anyway, the spirit of this team when they have put their noses in front is as strong as Takeover Target - you can't run these bastards down!!!

5/ []())([]™ - on the Freo game and posing the question - Guttiest Win?

One man on the bench and the boys lifted.
What a effing awesome vibe.
Just amazing to get this output from our kids and first year coach.
Blokes were stepping up everywhere.
White is back in my good books.

now,HTF Did we do it ?

6/ Who said that there's no love here? X's reply to Ox when suggesting they share some whacky weed (not that we are condoning illegal activity in anyway)

im so happy i would join u and make peace

peace bro

we Are from TIGERLAND!!!!!

http://oneeyed-richmond.com/forum//index.php?topic=11602.msg197081#msg197081

7/ We just couldn't leave out soemthing about the "T" word - compliments of OWL

Feels a lot better than tanking lol  Wins like that are what legends are made of.  Riewoldt still managed to get 5 with that crowd round him and they are a top 4 side..  One thing I have noticed is these guys get a sniff of blood and they just do not stop  now you can see it, they go harder in the second half once they smell they are still in it.  Its like watching an animal doco I love it LOL

http://oneeyed-richmond.com/forum//index.php?topic=11602.msg197144#msg197144

8/ Stripes on er tanking...er list management ..er Griffiths injury  ;D

Great move by the club with any of our structural players for the future. Put them under ice whenever any player has any injury concerns that may hurt their output next season.     Also allows the clubs to tial other players in other positions or in the side in general.

We are not tanking. We are looking to win every week.  Can't stop the group now no matter what changes are made.

http://oneeyed-richmond.com/forum//index.php?topic=11619.msg197433#msg197433

9/ Stern words about the "T" word from Go Richo 12  ;D

Now come on you two, did you really have to mention the 'T' word?
Seriously though i think he should have been dropped anyway for list management reasons! Those weeks he has played have been invaluable for his development, trouble is we wont win another game as he is our lucky charm! At least he'll finish the season undefeated!
