* July 15, 2010 CONTROVERSIAL Richmond midfielder Ben Cousins is certain to be recalled for Sunday's game against North Melbourne at the MCG.
Cousins, who'll replace the suspended Daniel Jackson, missed his fifth game this season in last Saturday night's win over the Dockers because of an interrupted preparation after being admitted to intensive care early last week due to an overdose of sleeping pills.
The 2005 Brownlow medallist has been back in full training for a week and, pending a clean bill of health, will play in the final seven home-and-away games where he will take his career tally of possessions to more than 6000.
In 263 matches since making his debut for West Coast in 1996, Cousins has averaged almost 23 disposals per game.
Jackson accepted a two-match suspension for engaging in rough conduct against Fremantle's Hayden Ballantyne last weekend.
Richard Tambling, a late withdrawal against Fremantle, is likely to be available against the Kangaroos, but teenage centre half-forward Ben Griffiths will miss the rest of the season due to a dislocated shoulder.
Ben Nason, who was concussed and did not play in the second half against the Dockers, remains in doubt but will be assessed today.
Luke McGuane, who has missed the past two rounds with an ankle problem, will also be subjected to a fitness test. On standby for senior recalls are Graham Polak and Jayden Post.
