yes we are aware of it

It is not a problem at our end it is with the site's host

As posted on another thread by Mr One-Eyed

http://oneeyed-richmond.com/forum//index.php?topic=11455.msg197496#msg197496

"Yep the "Internal server error" message has been occurring since Sunday. Sunday it was affected for 6 hours (3-9pm and then once again at 10pm). Yesterday it seemed to correct itself (at least I didn't have a problem using the forum yesterday). Today the error message has happened quite a few times which is frustrating. We have contacted the site's host and we are in discussion with them. So please bear with us folks. "

We understand everyone's frustration but we are trying to get it sorted out ASAP

Thanks
WP

Thanks WP. At least it saves me from writing length messages in case I lose the lot which is probably a blessing for everyone  :thumbsup

Funny thing is I've tried 3 times to reply to this thread and each time I've got the error!!  :lol

And it's been happening to me since well before Sunday WP.

I'm sure you are WP.  I'm an IT Consultant so I certainly know the drill - the expectations and the frustrations.   :thumbsup

WP at least with it reporting as an "internal server error" you know it is the forum hoster at fault and not any network, routing or DNS issue, these usually come up as "Page cannot be displayed" or "Server not found". I have to admit that this forum is one of the more unstable ones I have been involved with but I know its not your fault. From my previous experience as a forum admin, http://www.freeforums.org is one of the most reliable out there. I ran a forum on there for over 3 years and in that time only had one unscheduled outage and about 4 scheduled outages and one of them was to switch from phpbb2 to bb3. If your current hoster give you the runaround and the instability issues continue, I'd suggest you go take a look at their services. Whilst they host free forums, they have premium forum packages which offer all the extra trimmings like attaching a website portal as you do now.

Let me state that I have no affiliation with freeforums, I've just used them in the past and they were great.
