Polaks future
« on: July 14, 2010, 07:19:52 PM »
Sadly I cant see him playing AFL again to try and get a spot on the list. Can he be re-rookied next year?

Disappointing his last AFL game was against Port when we won and was dropped simply to make way for Simmonds goodbye. I still disagree this should have happened when it did.

On one hand I hope he gets another crack but another thinks there isn't much point seeing as he probably isn't apart of our future plans. I do hope he gets 1 more game so he goes out on normal terms instead of a stepping aside for a circus parade.

Really needs to pick up form at Coburg. Bump to the head came at a really bad time for him. Unfortunately definitely at the crossroads.

Why will Rance be delisted, I wouldn't think he would have any currency.

Would would you get rid of a young kid for pick 100 or so.

Unfortunately for Polly his AFL career is over. There's no sentiment in footy. It can be a cruel game at times. Even before the tram accident his footy future wasn't certain as a fringe player.

IMO we'll keep hold of Rance. Even Morton could survive with still 7 weeks to go. Gourdis and Polo added to Jordie, Polak, Hislop, Simmo and Thomson. Roberts is another who may go if he doesn't return. So possibly 8 changes.

because he cant get a game, thats why.
Our back 6 is very settled,
So settled that Mcgaune mighten get a game this week either.
Then you have guys like Post who will play either end

Sometimes you need players on your list for depth though too!

I still think Rance is good for another year. Many worse players than him on the list.

I would think that the fact that Rance is CONTRACTED for 2011 is a good enough reason to say he will not be de-listed

He can be traded but will he be? Doubt it

Agree is certainly a squad player and the next 30 games will determine whether he fits into our best 22.
I personally think he can.

I would be happy to trade Rance, goes hard at it but his disposal is so dodgy
