* Isn't always a bad as it seems. Internally we knew it was going to be a tough year but that the second half of the year would be better than the first. We've been building a list for a couple of years. Just needed to get a gamestyle.they could adapt to and that was going to take some time. Gary and Dimma thought that would take until well into the second half of the year. It's come around a bit quicker which is great for the group.
* Eddie was actually upbeat about Richmond
- new buildings being built at Punt Rd, a great young list and the Tiger Army starting to roar. Eddie even said we've been given dud draws in recent years. March returned the praise said he always admired what Geelong and Collingwood did starting from a similar point of a lot of debt and it's not easy to work you way out of it. You don't get many free kicks along the way. The real joy is seeing the whole team evolve which includes Gale, Cameron and now Damien. Enjoys seeing happy kids and members. 2,300 fans at the Cocktail Party and we were trying to keep a lid on it.
* Gary's son wants to get back to school in his Tiger jumper to brag about Richmond.
* Eddie brought up about Caro wanting March sacked about 6 weeks ago and said he knew from then watch out here comes the Tiges [Ed. no fan of Caro is Eddie]. March said it's nice to be off the paper in a while.
* Darcy said if you do a ladder over the past 6 weeks Richmond is third.
* 18 months ago we made the decision we needed to change the culture of the club - offloaded players, brought in a coach who we felt would bring in a strong culture, brought in Gale. In regards to Daniel Connors credit to him that he has turned his life and footy around.
