A RESURGENT Richmond is the talk of the town and these two girls show the changing guard -- on and off the field -- at the Tigers.

Retired star Matthew Richardson's No. 12, which adorned many fans' jumpers, has given way to the No. 3 of Brett Deledio and the No. 8 of Jack Riewoldt. And there's plenty of Ben Cousins' No. 32.

Laura, 5, and Sophie, 3, chose Deledio's number this year over Riewoldt's because they've been watching him longer.

Dad Jeremy Rosenthal said Richo had been the girls' favourite, and explaining his hamstring injury had been a challenge: "We used to just say he has a sore bot-bot.''
