Disgrace that Hislop as a player got this far, he cannot kick and is a sniper, no thanks, if they keep him, BIG MISTAKE
Agree Jack.

I agree with MT because MT represents the leadership on OER  :lol ;D

:lol  Some of your best work recently Ramps - life must be good!!

And in your humble opinion, who is in the OER leadership group?

I tried looking for that famous picture of the group of monkeys with there paws on there chins but I couldnt find it, Im disappointed, It would have made a decent response. ;D You know its the one that alot of our supporters used to have as an avatar with the message underneath about being Richmonds Recruiting Staff!
OER's leadership group  ;D

WP, FNM, Ramps and Jackstar  :wallywink

According to this picture, Jackstar has come out with some new information and the rest of gang are thinking what the eff is he talking about now  ;D

Oh yeah I forgot, Jackos not happy about the ears how about the monkey Ive been attributed with- looks like Prince Charles ears  :D

I believe you'll find 10-12 players chopped/traded at seasons end from both the senior and rookie list.

Simmo (ret)
Jordie (delist)
Hislop (delist)
Thompson (delist)
Polak (delist)
Roberts (delist)
Polo (trade/delist - I believe we will get a late pick for him)
Nahas (trade - see Polo)
Tambling (trade or keep)
Gourdis (delist)
Gilligan (delist, although I would love to see him play 2 or 3 games in the seniors)
King/White (at least one of these guys needs to go)
McGuane/Rance (as above)

Any less than 10 changes will be disappointing IMO, although in saying that I don't think I'll be disappointed.  ;)

max rooke was not a great player when jenqas hislop age.

Disgrace that Hislop as a player got this far, he cannot kick and is a sniper, no thanks, if they keep him, BIG MISTAKE
Agree Jack.

MT, if we keep players like Hislop, big mistake, the club will never learn :banghead?
Cant play anywhere but forward and his game is" error ridden"
Also he is also a bit "'ahead of hismelf "' off the field which is a further worry
His on-field deficiencies are more concerning and numerous. A footballer with VFL level skills and pace. His displays of "toughness" are too often cheap shots which belong in the 1970s/80s; not 2010.

GONE LIST

Simmonds
Polak
Thomson
Polo
Gilligan
McMahon
Roberts
Nahas
Hislop

thats without even thinking about it

Tradeable

Conners
Jackson
Tuck
Rance
Moore
Thursfield
McGuane

Lucky to survive

Tuck
King
White

Im amazed about the rumours that there will only be like 4 or 5 changes. If there is only 5 lets say- even I as a Hardwick supporter will have to say that its officially STRIKE 1

Contracts will restrict us if no one wants our players - Nahas has another year, King apparently re-signed  :P, Tuck had no takers last year.

If we have only 4-5 changes at the end of the year then gawd help us  :help. Then again when we look like having just 3 picks inside the top 50 in a supposedly weak draft thanks to no PPs then as a Club we only have ourselves to blame if that scenario comes true. Hopefully we are bold this time around and will trade for more picks via most of Ramp's trade bait list.

Even if its a shallow draft - If you have 10 blokes for example who can't or won't take the club forward- why keep them. You are better of going to the "shallow draft" taking 10 kids, you can guarantee if you take 10 kids even in a shallow draft, even if you only reckon that of the 10 that the first 2 will be ok, that on the balance of probability that of the remaining 8 you could find 2 footballers. In effect you add 2 more good footballers to your list than you expect. We keep players who arent up to it at Richmond to long.

WE ARE 15th ON THE LADDER! THE CLUB NEEDS TO WAKE UP TO ITSELF! OUR LIST IS CRAP!

our list is bad.
the guys who cant get a game at this point of the season who arent injured should be gone.
That would include Rance , Polak, Polo, etc.
McMahon and Simmonds gone
Roberts gone.
Thomson and Hislop gone.
Gilligan ::)
Nahas should be gone.
Then there is the issue with McGaune, still 2 years to go on a contract he doesnt deserve.
Connors, i dont want him at punt rd in 2011

Dear Jackstar and Ramps,

You both are 100% spot on!

I will add this ... and i will cop it ...

Shane Edwards and Shane Tuck need to go.

Edwards is a skinny  whose disposal is average at best.

Tuck is a 1980's player who does not run hard offensively and defensively. His decision making by foot is horrible.

Cousins is more value then both of them.

Jackson and Connors need to get their disposal right, too many turnovers.

You can keep both for next years, as we need to clear out the list from the bottom up, we cleaned the list out from the top last year.
if you think Edwards is bad, have alook at Hicks yesterday, he got blown away with the Four N twenty wrappers, actually one of the groundsman picked up Hicks at quarter time, mistaking him for the pie wrapper that was blowing around the ground

I would keep edwards because he improved this year. the rest have to go. You know what really poos me, is blokes who got contracts, once they got deals, they have reverted to how they were in the past. It effen poos me. Clear em out, we have to many pretenders at our club. Hardwick needs to show some balls and cut real deep again.

Don't think Hislop will be going anywhere for a year at least.  :-\
