In: Vickery, Collins, Gourdis
Out: Graham, Nason, 1 of Mcguane / Thursfield / Moore

I don't see them dropping Graham but I agree with the other outs so maybe Gourdis to miss again unless Collins doesn't come up.  We will need to load up on speed and height though if we want to match the Dees.  And on the Dees, they were quite ordinary last Sat night and if they reproduced anything like that form we would be a big chance.

serious question but this week do you expect Hardwick to go all out to win therefore just play one on one man on man footy or do you want him to continue the education process and play some zonal stuff which we have struggled to do well?

I reckon he will keep mixing it up a bit - playing zones is not just about where to go and what to do, fitness and skill has a fair bit of a role in the success or otherwise of zones and our inability to cope with them is partially tied to our overall development in fitness and maturity.  Next year we will see an improvement in our ability to zone and consequently more of it introduced into our game plan.  I like that we always go well man on man though - that tells me that for pure ability and attitude we are already well placed.

My reasons for Graham and Nason being dropped are that they're being rested.  Graham has clearly been hampered since the Fremantle game, and Nason's only a first year player.  He's running on empty at the moment.

Should bring in Gourdis and play him on Watts.
Gourdis has the athleticism to keep up with Watts, yet Watts isn't dominating games enough for it to be a massive job for a first gamer.

connors is safe, imo played a damn good game and disposal was very good

u really hate him dont u wp

Hate is a very strong word and one I don't particularly like to use

Don't respect him is a better way to put it

His disposal yesterday was average at best and he is clearly not fit. Yesterday he gave us plenty of glimpses of the "bad" Dan Connors, the one that wontt chase and the one that tried does the "show off" (aka selfish) type things rather than the team thing, first option thing... and can I add he one mate that stood out as a beacon in that regard as well at times yesterday....

Connors looks like he is having a baby.
Dont know what has gone on there, struggled last 2 weeks. looks very unfit

In: Vickery, Collins
Out: White, Nason

Vickery to replace White or Nason? I didn't know that either were ruckmen. Might have been as juniors but not at senior level, surely.

Maybe you are just looking at ruck stats as neither of them won a ruck contest yesterday and deserve to be dropped on their poor ruck performance?

Or are you proposing that with 3 ruckmen, Graham, Browne and Vickery, that one of them could play on a half forward stuff and run and chase all day? Have either of them been training on the half forward stuff?

 ::)

I think that hardwick mentioned after the game that they might be looking at Vickery as a short term tall forward option to help Jack out, especially with Griffiths out for the rest of the season.  Probably about practising the structures he wants moving forward into next season.

Hardwick did say that, however what about Post at Full Forward?

Post can mark better then anyone at Richmond!

Kick it to him and give him a chance!

Why the hell would Harwick even consider bringing Vickery into the mix, has done F all at Richmond and F all at Coburg, lazy in the ruck and hopeless as a forward, get over your bum boys coach and start rewarding the boys doing the job at either level

You can say Riewoldt.  It's pretty obvious.

Pehaps Jayden is running around at Coburg again simply because he doesn't deserve to be playing for Richmond base don his efforts the other week against Collingwood

I wans't talking about his best mate I was just referring to one of his team mates who did a couple of very selfish things yesterday
