Richmond has used the highest number of players of any club in the competition 18 rounds into the 2010 home-and-away season.  The Tigers also have had the most debutants.

At the completion of Round 18, a total of 39 players had represented Richmond - nine of them first-year players.

In stark contrast, top-four teams St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs had used 32 players respectively, with three debutants each.

Here’s how the appearance numbers of all the league clubs stack up after Round 18 . . .

39 - Richmond (9 debutants)
38 - Melbourne (5 debutants)
37 - North Melbourne (8 debutants)
36 - Brisbane (3 debutants)
36 - Essendon (5 debutants)
36 - Port Adelaide (6 debutants)
36 - West Coast (7 debutants)
35 - Adelaide (6 debutants)
35 - Carlton (2 debutants)
35 - Fremantle (7 debutants)
35 - Sydney (4 debutants)
33 - Collingwood (1 debutant)
33 - Geelong (5 debutants)
33 - Hawthorn (3 debutants)
32 - St Kilda (3 debutants)
32 - Western Bulldogs (3 debutants)

The highest number of players Richmond has used in a season over the past 20 years is 41, which occurred in both 1991 and 1993.  And, the Tigers’ 11 debutants in 1993 is the most they’ve had during the past two decades.

I would play Gourdis and O'Rielly just to equal that record!

Someone at the Club read your post torch  ;D

Up to 11 debutants now which equals the 1993 record:

Martin
Griffiths
Astbury
Dea
Taylor
Webberley
Nason
Hicks
Gourdis
O'Reilly
Roberts

Farmer could be included as well as he's made his debut for Richmond this year

Some great players started their careers in 1993. Hopefully it is a good omen

Richo the standout of course. A year of major turnover too at the end of it. Flea (ret.), Hogg and Lambert went while Brodders, Micky Gale and Rogers came in for 1994. Hopefully the current group goes on further than the one-year spike in 1995 we saw with the '93 group.
