Pleased on one hand = O'Reilly & Gourdis finally getting their deserved opportunities

Speechless on the other regarding one of the INS
Post is only in to take some heat off Jack! I can't believe that Will got dropped, he rarely loses to his opponent! Good to see Goo get a go!

is post a good contested mark? / goal kicker ?

I'm just happy Goo got a game and good on O'Reilly as well. :thumbsup

Means Grimes is the only one who has not debuted this year.

lol cant think of a better chop at the selection table in McGuane & Thursfield for thier crap performance against Melbourne.
Moore was very lucky too
Good luck to Gourdis because this lad is the next generation backline  :thumbsup

I do too! Has the athletism to go with anyone in the competition and has improved his desposal skills dramatically running out of defence. Hope he can pull it together over the next few weeks.  :thumbsup

I think the only time I saw Gourdis play was in the NAB Cup.....Is he an upgrade on McGuane/Thursty/Moore ? OR is he "cut from the same cloth".

Taller, faster and has become a very high posession defender at VFL with regular games of around 30 disposals.
If he can adjust to AFL level over the next year or two like he has VFL we'll have a ripper on our hands, there won't be a forward in the league he can't keep up with.

If Post is going to play up forward he has got to kick goals and not just be a foil. Given that we have quite a few defenders in the team maybe Astbury should play in the forward line. Would like to see how Gourdis goes against Waite if Waite plays in the forward line.

I feel sorry for Moore because IMO he can play and having to play slongside these 2 would be hard.
These 2 dont even look like footballers. Thursfield the size of a stick after what 5 years in the system.

We need to find 2 more backmen because these 2 are duds.
Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.
