ramps forget about premierships, we are that faraway i feel stupid even talking about it!  :banghead
just worry about at least making finals once.....then twice....then three times in a short time frame, from there and only there can you seriously evaluate what you need to take the next step. Hawthorn was a once in a blue moon freak occurance. Look at the pies, consistant fnals and now several years later looking to take the next step. Doggies the same, saints the same. Its effin hard enough to get into a position to have a legit crack..... premiership for us is just BS talk. Lets talk about making up the numbers first ey?!

Im not talking about flags, Im talking about - are the players marked in Red- can they help us win one. I personally dont think they can. The amount of them marked in red means we are a way off, so in effect it shows how much work is to be done. If people wanna talk about finals- they can change the question- Can the blokes marked in red help us make finals regularly?

White and King have had good years.

Browne is in developing stage as is Nason.

The rest I'm not 100% confident in. Some more than others.

I can't understand the calls for Cousins to be moved on when we have Shane Tuck going around again. If u had to pick one to play next year surely Cousins has more to give than Tuck? Personally I want both to play next year but I don't understand the talk for him to retiree when I think he's ahead of Tuck.

21 Tuck One more year to take some knocks for the kids im afraid
     23 Jackson No
47 Nason Given he was pick 70 something i think he has done ok. Got to give the ladd a few more years i think.
     40 Moore No
37 Post Showed somthing today, maybe
28 King As a forward pocket possibly, needs to be left deep in the pocket though
25 Graham Yes, I like how he is developing so far.
34 Browne Jury is out, needs to learn how to mark
35 White, M Speed isnt always the answer, doubt it.

I should have finished off my post, I meant to say, I can see some of them helping us to get to finals, players like white, King, Tuck but when talking premierships or "serious contender" then you'd probably want to upgrade most of those blokes, which is probably why I don't even entertain premiership talk.

19 Connors Same as Jacosh. If he pulls his head in then yes.
21 Tuck Just filling in as a mature body cannonfodder until eventually replaced by someone better and younger.
23 Jackson Possibly as a bench player but no if we're talking top 6 midfielder.
47 Nason Too early to judge debutants. His size will go against him.
40 Moore Not as key defender.
     37 Post See Connors.
     28 King NO!
25 Graham He's improving. A maybe given rucks don't peak until their mid 20s.
34 Browne Same as Jacosh - Jury is out, needs to learn how to mark
35 White, M footskills let him down.

Lets just hope that Connors has only 2 more games left in the yellow and black and a trade can be down, had enough of him.
if he ever shows the ball to an opposition player again, I will spew !
Post can make it but needs a giant prod up his behind

He does need a massive kick up the backside but I also think he may just be way too slow

37 Post Showed somthing today, maybe

Not sure what he showed to be honest in the sense that out of 120 minutes of footy he looked OK for about 15 minutes

Look I gave him kudos for some things he did yesterday - that mark backing back into the pack was fantastic. But that seems to the exception rather than the norm

That was about it i agree William, i just think with the right people around him he can be taught.
He obviously has guts and doesnt mind taking a leap or going backwards into packs for a mark.  That cant be taught its in his persona.

We have had players bagged on here cause they have obvoius talent but are to lazy or scared to do the things that he is doing.  Got to give him a go IMO.
