I reckon Cooney is massively overrated. To be 4th on the ladder you obviously have some players going ok, but it has been Griffen, Cross and Boyd and not Cooney this year.

Take out Cooney and put Juddas in. As much as I despise the guy, he's been ok this year, better than Cooney anyway.

Another thing, all Harry O'Brien does, apart from being a massive wanker, is run like a crazed idiot and kick the ball 50 metres to a contest.

agreed, i choked whe i saw that at work today, cooney has been pretty ordinary this season, shouldn't even be in the 40 man squad imo. Also Harry O is in purely based on buzz with the pies on top of the ladder. Had some very quiet games this season, only averages abt 16 possessions and before anyone says stats are overated, imo if you play as a rebounding defender you need to be getting it roughly 25 times a game to be in the mix. Lids has Harry and Enright coverd on this seasons form.

Stevie J is nowhere near it this season, Green should take his spot

Harry O only in to appease Pie fans yet they'd probably whinge about Maxwell and half their side not being included as well :chuck

Cooney had a poor start to the year so I don't see him making the actuall AA side. Judd should be in there instead as he carries Carlton half the time.

I'd have Pav at CHF and Hall on the bench. Pav has been far more consistent.

Barlow would have to be included if you ignore him missing the last 1/3 of the season due to injury. Freo have dropped away since he's been missing.

laughing at some of you hanging it on Harry Obrien. He beat all our tall backline players hands down. Quality player is Harry this year & he got his reward.

Why not laugh about Jack Rewoldt, his a pee tanker at a 21st party Saturday night. drowning his sorrows  :chuck

So you are saying that they got it right with O'Brien but not Riewoldt?

Sam Fisher has had a better year than O'Brien, so has Chris Tarrant for mine who takes the best forward each week.

It's more of a because he's in a good team he looks good. Like Nick Maxwell and Cameron Mooney. They were disgraceful AA selections. Their teammates made them look good.

If Harry O was a Tiger and ran like a maniac from our backline and bombed balls to Robbie Hicks, Ben Nason and Andrew Collins, the ball would go back over his head for a goal 15 times a game.

what you just wrote was wasted forum space. Harry O has been the benchmark of the Collingwood backline this year & even Malthouse has said the same. So if Mick is saying it then l know who l beleive.
