21st May - 25th June no games in Vic  :o A month without footy for the diehards.
I may do Darwin in preference to Brisbane - 3 interstaes in a row a bit much.

And as for no FTA for the Home/Away Games - No right  :banghead Not right at all  :banghead

AFL admits we play a home game at Etihad so the AFL can meet their Eithad quota

We're contracted to play 48 games at Etihad, so the Cats, Dees and Tigers each play a home game there to help make the quota.

AFL chief operating officer Gillon McLachlan said the league did not favour the Pies.

The playing field's about as level as the deck of the Titanic just before she went under.
Just for a split-second I entertained the ridiculous notion that the AFL, having secured what they wanted all along (a Maggotpie premiership), would move on and start sharing the love around.
Maybe one day we'll see Scumwood playing their "home" games in Cairns and Darwin. Yeah, right.

Yes Gary Pert can crap on all he likes about all clubs asking to play them in Melbourne but what about the dream draw of the perfectly placed Byes and dream run at the G and other interstate venues.

That Gillan Mcwanker bloke is an absolute tool.

I just hope this draw isn't a sign on whats to come in 2011.

Well there's one possible extreme solution to prevent poorly supported clubs like North, Dogs and Dees requesting to play home games against Collingwood - bye bye out of the comp, relocate or merge and everyone left mostly plays each other home and away  :whistle.

One thing we have in our favour is once we finally break out of this three decade slump lol we have the capacity with our large but at the moment dormant supporter base to demand a similar draw to the Pies with all the primetime tv games, "blockbusters" and huge major sponsorship deals that come with it.
