Collo missed the first 3 games of the season before playing the next 4 including a season high 24 possie games against Freo in round 5. Then missed the Essendon and Hawthorn games before returning and having a mini-purple patch as a HFF kicking 11 goals in 5 games including the winner against the Swans. Missed the Adelaide and Melbourne games late in the season before returning for the final 3 rounds.

At the moment he is just a fringe player capable of a few  "cameo" performances.

2011 will be an interesting year for him.I think he would be a good size once he puts a bit more meat on.

Hard to judge his improvement based on his change in role. I still think he'd be better on the wing.
Good to see he played more games than last year, but needs to bulk up and hopefully play 22 games next year.

Agree Infamy.  His change of role meant a review of my expectations for him from 2009 but I thought he grew into his new role as did many of the kids over the season and like you said, if he bulks up then he has plenty of upside and time.  Only gave him 6 for this season but I'm very happy to keep him and watch him develop.

Andrew Collins might have trouble getting a game next season.

Tuck and Jackson both could be in the team ahead as both have more grunt.

Then the following in mix for mid size role;
taylor, Morton, dea, Oreilly, webberly, Connors, tambling, farmer, nason, Hicks, king, White, Edwards etc.

Yep! Seems strange to say about a team that won 6 and finished 15th, but we seem to be getting a bit of depth.

Does not have to worry about Hicks, Oreilly. Both should not be on the list both should be just retained as rookies.

Gave him a 4

Was disappointed with his efforts late in the season

Give him a 5. Like him up forward. Showed he was capable of kicking some good goals. Needs to bulk up and get more of the ball.

I gave him 4. Close to a pass and winning the Sydney game nearly earnt him a 5. Even so I feel he was not consistent enough to earn the pass on the back of a few cameos. Liked the signs though, definitely have some expectations for the boy. He could be a keeper.

Are you serious I thought O'Reilly was very good against St KIlda nad was really good against Port.

Anyway I gave Collo a 6. I think he is one of those depth players whose development over the next few years will determine whether we will become a flag contender or just a run of the mill 5-10 side at best.

We know Lids Cotch Martin Jack will be stars and A graders blokes like Collins Nason Webberley and such who are C graders will determine our potential premiership status if they can develop into B graders and have the ability to step up and have important impacts every week much like in the lets say Adam Simpson mould at the Roos or Heffernan at the Dons or blokes like Tim Notting at Bris who were real important to their teams flag success without taking the plaudits the stars did.

5 from me.
Needs to develop consistency as there is way too big a gap yet between the good and the bad.
Needs more strength(still) and disposal can be iffy.
50/50 to make it as a player IMO.
