Pretty much agree exactly with Jack, except finishing 11th with 9 wins.  Morton to kick more goals than Cotchin and King.  Gourdis to show most improvement.

The coaches love Newy and he always polls well in the B&F  :thumbsup

And I thought 2010 was Newy's best year - came of age as a leader IMHO

Have we had one those "rate a year" thingees for him yet?

You know what's weird MT, I hadn't even read Jackie's responses until I'd posted my forecasts about the Condog.

I am far from convinced with Daniel unfortunately. I predict it's going to go pear-shaped but hope I am wrong obviously.

Dan does have more detractors than fans which is understandable in a way given he's done nothing yet in his career other than show potential and his ordinary behaviour and issues off-field in the past hasn't helped him find admirers either. I still think supporters are a touch harsh on him though as far as on-field goes. He didn't finally have a full preseason until last summer so it was no surprise to me he started finding more of the ball this year. He did finish top 10 in the league for kicks. Dan needs to improve his efficiency as far as hitting targets more often but 95% of our list do too and most of the others can't get their hands on the pill enough which puts them behind Connors. After 4 years missing 3 preseasons I'd give Dan some slack on-field at this stage. 2011 for me is more about him showing he's finally got it together off-field as a professional footballer and barring any injuries he should be aiming to play 22 games next year to payback the Club's faith in standing by him after his drunken episode in Sydney.
