for mine its that duet of the early 70s ...ricky Mclean and neil balme..Man did those 2 put the fear of death in anyone going remotely near them..just ask Geoff Southeby.
And i would throw in Rough Robbie Macghee in as well..no player has ever been so well adorned with body art since or before.

Might be because I was a young fella at the time, but I've never liked a team as much the '95 team. There are probably about 6 or 8 cult heroes in that team for me.

Jim Jess my number 1
And I have to say Tim Flemming in the modern era.
If there was a fight going on, Tim was there no matter who was in it.
He was a tiger of old. With more guts than most gave him credit for.

Cult hero from the 80's Jimmy "The Ghost" Jess.

Cult hero from the 90's Duncan "The Glove" Kellaway.

Cult hero for a match when he kicked 3 in the last quarter when we beat Carlton in 1988 when we were bottom and they were top Chris Pym.

Robbie Powell was another one. Especially after he was spotted numerous times at various Northern Suburb TAB's.

Nathan Bower just for when we played West Coast to play on Peter Matera.

and my personal favourite from 95 who sadly broke his leg on the same day as Richo did his knee in Sydney Stuart Wigney. :thumbsup

Ross Funcke - one decent game in his time at Richmond but he had the best surname in footy lol.

The late Jamie 'Sticky' Tape  :(

Justin Plapp - had a cult following at ressie level and came into the side in a blaze of glory with 8 goals in his first two games. Within 15 months he was flogged off to St Kilda.

Ray 'Razor' Hall - got his own tribute song from supporters lol.
