Any chance that richmond go for caddy with their first pick

KevinSheehan:
Hi Adrian, Richmond certainly could go for Caddy with pick 6. You can liken him to Dustin Martin - he's got similar traits.

Hi Shifter, richmond look like picking Polec or Heppell at #6, both of which i'd be more than happy with by all reports, but at pick #30 would luke mitchell be a good pick if still available? Karl

KevinSheehan:
Luke Mitchell is a hard one to put a draft number on because he missed most of the year with injury, before kicked five goals in the TAC Cup grand final - a performance that was overshadowed by Prestia and Wallis. That game, in my view, gets him drafted, but it's a matter of which pick. He's grown to 198cms so has enormous prospects as a marking forward in the AFL.

hey kevin i was wondering where recce conca will go

KevinSheehan:
Hi Alex, Reece was a super-impressive WA player in the national champs. He then went home, made his senior for Perth in the WAFL, and immediately dominated. He looks a first-round choice.

what do you think about gorringe with richmonds 1st pick??

KevinSheehan:
Lenny, I think the Tigers will take a midfielder with pick 6 but they might grab a ruckman like Ben Mabon or Andrew Phillips might be worth considering with a later choice if they want to get a ruckman into their group.

Shifter how does the strength of the draft compare to other years?

KevinSheehan:
I think you measure a good draft by its depth and this one has got terrific depth. There will be plenty of good kids available with picks in the 50s and 60s, and there'll be heaps of quality in the first round.

g'day shifter do you think that polec will last until pick 6 for richmond?

KevinSheehan:
Jarrod, young Polec is considered in the top bracket of midfielders and until Gold Coast, West Coast and Brisbane confirm their choices on the night we can only speculate. He's certainly a top-10 pick.

Hi Shifter. Do you know much about James Lawton from Coburg. Only 19 and kicked a few goals this year in the VFL. He's a tall lad and attended state screening. Is he a chance?

KevinSheehan:
G'day Daniel, Lawton has got to be chance because he was invited to the state draft combine. He's a great size for a tall option up forward or in the backline.
