Who cares what North does ... because whatever they do whether it be with the AFL's assistance or not they will fail because that is what the North Melbourne Footy Club stands for "Stuffing Up"

Any organisation that turns down $100 mil clearly hasn't got a clue and deserves the miserable existence that they have carried around for their entire petty existence and will continue to do so for however long they are around

North IMHO opinion stands for no fans no support no sponsors no character no identity no nothing just talking about pathetic antequated mythical Shinboner Spirit. Destitute club that has been on life support for years. Time to take them out of the coma and euthanase them.
I hate losing to Carlton and Collingwood but because North are pathetic and all of the aforementioned I hate losing to them as it is a dent to your character, prestige and identity just so 10 off beats can have their 5 minutes in the sun. They can play on the moon and they will have very few supporting them. If Wayne Carey could not get the members on board then nobody will. Fk off Norf.

Unfortunately should have been North instead of fitzroy in the first place, North just dont have the volume of supporters needed to survive outright in Melbourne so they should be given the ultimatem - shunted off forcefully or die. Fitzroy were just shafted

If north had have been reasonable back in 96 or so they would have been able to ensure the survival of themselves and Fitzroy.

Instead, they asked for a 60-man list and to be called the North Melbourne-Fitzroy Kangaroos instead of the Fitzroy Kangaroos or North Melbourne Lions.

There was a real chance of teams with compatible geography, demographics and colours linking up and ensuring the survival of both and North wanted their cake and to eat it too.

Serves them right, I have no sympathy, I just would rather that the AFL set them some clear deadlines and ultimatums to get their house in order.

The AFL are treading far too gently here. The North move should have been done regardless of the boards vein attempt to resurrect the club on the wave of short term, unsustainable passion. Moving North, well, north would have been the best thing for the club, competition and even the supporters. Now they are the anchor holding the competition down. The AFL stuffed up again by not forcing Hawthorn to move out of Tasmania and allow North to go there. The Tasmania Kangaroos would have been a great solution for all parties in the long term yet now the AFL is left pimping North out yet again around Australia.

The Kangaroos will never attract the supporters it needs to compete with the rest of the Melbourne based clubs but at the same time, despite all the facts and figures you can throw at them, will never admit this. The AFL need to show some, and find a new place where they can find some new untapped supporters because until they do, the Kangaroos will suck more money out of the league than any of the expansion team every will in the long run.

i never voted brumby in Smokey in fact no one did he fell over the line, Bradbury styles.

Brumby is on his own. He is an A grade tosser with poor decisions made for our state.

TM your right about the timing of these raids etc etc but in Labours defence they all play these games but helping North out has got to be the biggest joke ive heard this year

I get the impression Norf think a "sell out" home game is one that's been sold to another part of the country 

Anyway, it's the VFL's own fault for admitting poo clubs like Norf, St. Kilda and the Flogdogs in the first place. All 3 should be playing in a lower league.
Get rid of them, introduce a Tassie side and we're back to a 16 club comp.
