Shoulda coulda woulda.

When you have a dynasty with 3 effing flags you have to wonder about all the previous sliding door moments.

What if taking Heps had a roll on effect on the rest of our fate that resulted in us not winning those flags?

In a sense, all is forgiven for the last 15-20 years and every decision we made led us to that dynasty.

Now that it's past us we can rumenate on the more recent cockups!

Good point , I would take 3 flags over a couple of selection errors anyway.
Heppell did a pre season with us and we over looked him , makes you wonder what the knock on him was , could have been a great whipping boy 🫣

Heppell is rubbish.

I would argue conca was actually better. Conca never injected into his body so that makes him a clean athlete.

It was hardly Tambling over Franklin - it wasn't even our worst miss of that draft-  but drugs or no drugs at his best Heppell was still an A-grader and a demonstrably superior player to Cuddles the Clanger King who was a C+ on a good day and would've still been on the board at our third pick.....

Dunno about A grader. B/B+ at most imo. Not someone to lose a wink of sleep over, you could pick any draft and find much much worse non selections.
