No one does well in that jumper these. The last blokes to wear it off the top of my head are Blumfield, TBone and Jordy....

Probably a good number to take considering in many supporters eyes there's nothing he can do that will be good enough for them

Playing some decent footy will be good enough for everyone.
Not enough, some will be critical just for selecting him for a senior game in the first place
Others will be critical if he doesn't play a single senior match

Richmond’s selection in this week’s pre-season draft, Bachar Houli, will wear the No.14 guernsey at Tigerland.
 
The skilful left-foot midfielder, taken at pick 3 overall in the pre-season draft, has traded the No. 43 he wore at Essendon for the Tigers’ No. 14.
 
Former Melbourne forward, Brad Miller, taken by Richmond as a mature-age rookie, will don the No. 13 guernsey, after wearing the No. 7 throughout his nine-season career with the Demons.
 
The Tigers’ first pick in the rookie draft, Ben Jakobi, will wear the No. 47 guernsey in his first year at Punt Road, while Tom Hislop, rookied by the Club, after being de-listed at the end of last season, returns to his No. 27.

I wouldn't say either Miller or Houli were young players, both have played a fair bit of footy just not for us, I would have thought they have both earn't there stripes ;) ;)

considering they are both mature age players specifically targeted I think that's a fair way to look at it t from t  . The same applies to grigg.
