Who is under the pump to perform in 2011?
« on: December 05, 2010, 05:16:50 PM »
Okay there's always some obvious names but this thread is also interested in the not-so-obvious ones as well.

As the thread title says -  who is under the pump and needs to perform in 2011 to survive beyond next year?

Matt White (was good at times last season and will need to be consistent in 2011)
Robin Nahas (old horsey better find some new tricks otherwise he's gawn)
McGuane (pretty sure he has a contract but I reckon he needs to go up a level)
Thursfield

I don't think Tuck is under the pump (or Browne, Miller and Taylor). He was one of our best players last season and he proved he is capable of playing different roles for the side. He'll play 22 games unless he is injured. Miller is only here as back up. Expectations arent high for him

I forgot about Hislop. I don't see him showing much more than what we've already seen from him.

McGuane - clearly after a very average 2010

Thursfield - wanted out, had to stay how he handles it is up to Will

All of them to be competitive particularly early in the season unlike the past 3-4 years when seasons been over after round 4.
