December 13, 2010 RICHMOND will head to the Top End but most teams will holiday close to home in 2011 pre-season community camps announced today.
The Tigers will hold their community camp in the Northern Territory ahead of their appearance in next year's exhibition match against the Indigenous All-Stars in Darwin.
“The Telstra AFL community camps will see AFL players visit schools, hospitals and football clubs during the countdown to the season," AFL manager of national and international development David Matthews said.
“It’s a great opportunity for football fans in regional locations to see the players up close as they prepare for Round 1.”
