St Kilda Football Club can confirm that on its recent training camp to New Zealand four players breached team behavioural standards, including the use of alcohol, misuse of prescribed medication and leaving the team hotel against a player established policy.

The players involved are Paul Cahill, Zac Dawson, Rhys Stanley and Jack Steven.

All four players today met with the Club’s Leadership Group and key senior players and in consultation with Senior Coach Ross Lyon and Chief Executive Michael Nettlefold, the following undertakings have been agreed:

- A suspension from the Club for a period of six weeks during which time they will be training with VFL affiliate Sandringham
- Maximum fine payable under the AFL Player’s Code of Conduct
- Specified counselling procedures
- Players will be required to find full time employment for the duration of their suspension
- Participate in relevant community programs in the City of Frankston area

These undertakings are effective as of today subject only to further discussions with the AFL.

The Saints had refused to do the AFLPA programs relating to off-field behaviour and now it's come back to bite them. What idiots!  :wallywink

Saints players are now being accused of being in a fight with local kiwis in a restaurant including punching the restauranter.

If they lose a few games early on the whole place will implode. We can only hope  ;D.
