Kelvin Moore (hip) TBA

What does this mean exactly  ???

last week he was 1-2 weeks; now it's back to "TBA"

Another setback?

Doesn't sound good for Kel does it :-\. He's had the hip issue all through the preseason from memory and it looks like we'll have to forget about him this year if it keeps on reoccurring six rounds into the season :(.

Hips are just about the worst injury you can get when expecting a time frame to return from rehab..

Just one of the hardest and most frustrating injuries to come back from quickly

Richmond player injuries and suspensions (at 11 May):

Shane Tuck (ribs) Test
Daniel Connors (hamstring) Test
Will Thursfield (leg) 1 week
Matt Dea (leg) 1 week
Jamie O’Reilly (foot) 2 weeks
Kel Moore (hip) TBA

Here's Matt Hornsby talking about our injuries:
http://bigpondvideo.com/RichmondTV/353169/medical-room-round-7/

* Whitey has recovered quite well. Scans and X-rays all clear. We subbed him off more given the state of the game and brought Nason on. Whitey will be training later this week and we expect to put his hand up for Sunday.

* Tucky has recovered quickly. Put his hand up to play but we'll make a judgement on that later in the week.

* Moore - We're being conservative as he's had issues with his hip in the past. Thorough planning in place and he's sticking to that and heading in the right direction. Focussing on strength training. Expect him back in full training in a couple of weeks.

* Dea and O'Reilly - both had minor stress reactions but they were caught early so nothing sinister. We'll build up their running volume in next week and half and then they should be back into full training.

Moore will probably be playing by midseason. While he's a good defender our defence will be better without him. We tend to use him as a tall defender and he's usually outsized by 5-10cm and 10kg. He rarely plays fullback, but if he did we'd struggle. Being outsized like this is not what you want with one of your key defenders.

Considering Thursty isn't in the side, be interesting to see who's spot Moore takes if/when he comes back in. McGuane is the smallest of the guys currently playing.

Me either.
Moore's overly enhanced reputation grows the longer he's missing.

2cm shorter and 3cm+ shorter standing reach  8)
Mcguane is our best 1 on 1 tall defender and he plays taller than 192cm. You don't want to go any shorter than 192cm. Rance, Grimes and Astbury are all between 193cm and 195cm. Do you really want to have Moore as one of our KP defenders and being drawfed by his opponent every game? He'll have to play to his 100% best and usually break even because he's going to get outbodied a few times per game. Deledio, Newman and Batchelor all provide better skill and run as smaller defenders

Moore doesn't play FB. Read what Hardwick said. Moore is more ( :-*) of a Nick Maxwell type.

Rance, Grimes & Astbury are the way forward. McGuane is depth.

Just a footballer and a replaceable one at that.

Agree. Could be traded to GWS.
