WP,

It would be interesting to know how much they donated. In reality all they would have to do to make that statement valid is to donate $100 to Care Australia and give $39,900 to Trisha.
Also, I know how New Idea operates. If there was a substantial donation made to Care Australia that they were involved in, they would be more likely to have a full page spread rather than a bloody footnote.
Remember this...when people whisper, Their main intention is to hide something from others.  ;)

Moi, Thankyou for that. I am guilty of assuming the worst but when New Idea and other trashy magazines like them get hold of people and show them the Colour of money they usually follow. I congratulate Trisha on her initiative with Reach and her resistence to follow the way many others have done in the past. I am not afraid to say that I was wrong about Trisha but New Idea are still a crappy mag that preys on the misfortunes of others for Tabloid glory!

On the subject of Troy Broadbridge's funeral, the following was taken from the AFL site:-

"The funeral was attended by numerous football officials, including AFL chief executive Andrew Demetriou, and various players and coaches from rival clubs. Among them was Richmond coach Terry Wallace, Tiger Matthew Richardson, Western Bulldogs Chris Grant and Luke Darcy, ex-Demon and current Collingwood player Shane Woewodin, Adelaide's Ben Hart and Hawks Richard Vandenberg and Joel Smith."

Good to see Terry and Richo flying the Richmond flag.

Agree Julz. Good on the club. Troy Simmonds was also there as he originally played for the Dees.
