Be very surprised to see the big Griff there rnd 1.

I'm with you, Miller will get his chance straight up, Griff will be put in cotton wool till he is 100%

This would be my team Round 1:

Newman    McGuane    Batchelor

Grigg         Moore        Connors

Houli         Cotchin      Conca

Morton     Griffiths (Post) Deledio

Taylor       Riewoldt      Astbury

Derickx    Foley        Martin

Graham    Grimes    Jackson

Tuck (s)

That's right!

Conca, Batchelor and Derickx play their first match!

Grimes has talent and should be playing ASAP! Throw him in the deep end!

Deledio to play half forward in 2011 and become that Mark Mercuri, Paul Champon and Steve Johnson!

Astbury to play the second tall deep!

Knew there was somebody I forgot, Miller will definetly start, Griff or post out, depends on how the shoulder is progressing with Griff, If deemed ok, he will play... Same with Jackson I left Jackson out because he is having some problems with his hammy injury, Don't think he will come up by round 1 otherwise he is another that will definetly start, probably ahead of Nason.

Agree Fluffy

If I thought Griffiths' was going to be ready for round 1 I'd have gone for him over Miller in a heartbeat

A bit bored so thought I may as well have a crack.

B:  Farmer, McGuane, Astbury
HB:  Deledio, Moore, Newman
C:  Connors, Martin, Grigg
HF:  Edwards, Miller, Morton
F:  Nason, Riewoldt, Derickx
R:  Graham, Tuck, Cotchin
I:  Foley, Houli, Jackson, Batchelor

Won't play Round 1 but:
Possibly in best 22:  Griffiths, Conca, Taylor, King
Can make a difference if they develop as hoped:  Vickery, Post, Grimes, Browne, Helbig, McDonald
Fingers crossed roughies might make it:  Westhoff, Webberley, O'Reilly, Gourdis
