Team: RICHMOND
Ins: Jake Batchelor (Dandenong U18), Reece Conca (Perth), Tom Derickx (Claremont), David Gourdis (elevated rookie), Shaun Grigg (Carlton), Brad Helbig (West Adelaide), Bachar Houli (Essendon), Dean MacDonald (Gippsland U18), Brad Miller (Melbourne, rookie)
Outs: Andrew Collins (Carlton), Ben Cousins (retired), Tom Hislop (rookie), Jordan McMahon (delisted), Dean Polo (delisted), Troy Simmonds (retired), Richard Tambling (Adelaide), Adam Thompson (delisted)
Draw: At first glance, the Tigers' draw looks favourable with 12 matches at the MCG and Sydney the only team from last year's top six that they meet twice.
Richmond also play the trouble-plagued Brisbane twice as well as the Bombers, Carlton, Melbourne and North Melbourne. The Tigers have to travel interstate six times including a couple of the toughest trips in the league, to the stifling heat of Darwin in May to take on Port Adelaide and then to Cairns in July to host new boys Gold Coast. They also play West Coast in Perth in Round 20.
