Plough was also on the Run Home this afternoon.

Was mainly asked about the first thing he was trying to or had changed at Richmond.

Terry said that it was the players confidence. All were rock bottom after last season, from what he said they have created a profile of each player and listed all of their achivements from junior footy up until today.

Obviously most players at AFL level will have a few B&F's etc from juniors or what have you and hopefully the players can start feeling better about themselves.

Terry said that he could feel a change within the playing group in regards to confidence and self belief. :thumbsup

Just for those who couldn't access the link Wallace talked about:

* Introducing a new style of aggressive, attacking and running footy and working on improving the side. Game based drills were apart of that. Top sides such as the Lions scored 1/3 of their score from throw ins, ball-ups and centre bounces clearances so stoppages are fairly important. Wiz Cup will be the first chance to see where we are at.

* Cogs is coming on well, super fit and able to everything. Integrated well back into main training. Media reports of him going amiss were not quite correct. All we had done is ease him back from the heavy cross training he was doing earlier on in the preseason. Target is round 1 so that most likely means 4 footy games leading up to that. Depending on how he goes the next couple of weeks he'll either play a half early on or hold off til further into the preseason games.

* A couple of the young guys are ready to go to play in the early rounds.

* Said we've lacked that bit of brilliance and speed in the middle. Raines, Roach, Hartigan, Deledio, Tambling and Meyer were recruited for that reason. Quick with good skills. Question is whether they can compete as 1st and 2nd yearers with the elites of the comp.

* We'll play all three big blokes - Simmonds, Stafford and Knobel. Said he didn't have that at the Dogs. Need the size, bulk and maturity to go with the young side we'll have.

* Captaincy will be decided closer to the start of the H/A season. Terry wants to see who out of the 4 puts their hand up in the preseason games. The long training sessions in the heat also gave a guide as to who your real leaders are and who can drag the other guys through. Said if Browny hadn't put his hand up as one of the 4 he'd be disappointed. The process is he and the match committee after getting input from all areas of the club put up a name to the board as the captain has a number of important off-field duties these days as well as on-field.

* Pettifer struggled in the earlier part of preseason as he was crook but is performing well now. Such a beautiful kick. Job now is for the coaches to get him to be the player that everyone thought he'd be as a highly rated junior.

* Rodan's been our best on-track performer so far. Wallace sees him as a midfielder and hopes he will take up the challenge.

* Tuesday's is the players selected social day. Solid session in the heat at training 11am today at Punt Road. Team travels up to Mildura for the community camp on Tuesday for all of next week.

LMAOOOOOO@That idiot.
Even when he'e relaxed and not stressed he's a frikken schitman.
LMAOOOO@The way he talks about Richmond.......like he's welcome at punt road
 :lol
Like Dermie said,no other player in the history of the game has had the ball kicked over their head for a score
more than spud.

LMAOOO@The way the interviewers knew his limitations as a mentally functional human being and made the questions tailorable to spuds stupidity.

I still cant believe he invaded, raped and plilaged our club the way he did.

LMAOOO@Me loving the opportunity to bash this clown

We have to stop giving frawley credit for karakouers talent.
If Andy fails then we may have an argument.
