For those who watched it, what did Dimma talk about?

I tried to watch it but called away ended up catching the last 2-3 minutes.

How long was he on for - 10 minutes?   :-\ :-\
Thanks for the summary guys.

That's ordinary and disrespectful to drag a senior coach in there for just 10 minutes and to mainly just rehash questions we've heard the answers to many times before. I see we also got the old chestnut about how many coaches we've been through and how they never coached again  ::).

The use of the word "Jail" was unnecessary. Could have said a million things. Otherwise a standard Hardwick interview.

I agree with you on that.
Also I thought Krakouer was delisted because he was not good enough, not because he was going to the 'big house'
But anyway, he was dismissive of anything that is past history and that is the way it needs to be.

Overall very impressed with Hardwick tonight

Krak was with us for 7 years and yet still was a fringe player so he was going to be delisted even if that NYE incident didn't happen. If we had kept him on Krak would be expected to be a key senior player at Richmond now leading the way onfield rather than as a pinch-hitting sub which is his role at Collingwood.

In fairness to Dimma - I think he showed he really didn't know why Krak was de-listed because it was way before his time. He said something along the lines "I am not sure why Krakouer got de-listed, was it because he was about to go to jail?"

I remember when they'd have their guests on for good 20 minutes or so... like they did last year with Cuz...

since when did jail become a politically incorrect term?

He went to jail and that, as JJ would say..is FACT!

I wonder if the interview would've gone for 10 mins had we lost by 100 points?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Can't help thinking that if you're worried about the term "jail" then perhaps you shouldn't end up there in the first place. Going to jail is not that hard to avoid.

Ramps honestly mate WGAF.

Jail is Jail and thats where he went.

Might not have to been then sole reason why he left Punt Road but he decided to commit an offence so thats the place he was sent.

Yes he did but to my knowledge that's not the reason he was delisted.
Despite his 2nd coming post lockup Krak was a major under achiever at Richmond.
In the coach's defence the decision on Andy was pre his appointment so can plead ignorance.

I wonder if the interview would've gone for 10 mins had we lost by 100 points?

Yes picks his moments does Hardwick. TBH I thought the Dimma interview was one of the worst I have seen OTC. Boring as.

When is 'American English' going to cease from taking over our 'Australian English' on this website among others  :banghead

the american word Jail is spelt as 'Gaol' in our language, also the word defence with a 'c' is the correct spelling and not with an 's'  :banghead as is almost always used on this forum.

Some may think I am being pedantic but in my mind it is sad to see the American influence so strong in our society.

get used to it mopsy. If it wasn't for this forum I wouldn't understand anything my kids say to me ie; BRB, LOL, 2MOZ etc. Problem is they actually say the abreviations to me in conversation. The worst of it is that my girls talk with an American accent at times..it's so irritating to me, it's probably why they do it.

Complete waste of Dimmas time last night....absolute fluff.

Mike and Gerard should be quite embarrassed by that effort.

Agree fully MM.  I thought that Dimma's comment (the way that he said it) was a veiled way of suggesting that Krakoeur was flicked because he was not up to the standard required.
