Sheparding is an interesting one.

I getting the impression that players are being instructed to run forward with the ball carrier to create an option rather than shepard. It just happens too often to not be under instruction.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

well if thats the case then its wrong.

When you have a player i.e Gus standing a metre from a teammate but not doing much by wave his hands around i see a problem.

If they are running forward of the ball its okay but from what i see most times they dont they just go at half pace close to their teammate.

Yes it is wrong Daniel but your example is not a good one - Gus does that by nature, regardless of the game plan.
