I cant stand watching Gus play. But when he started to take control we were on top. Just shows how important a good ruckman is.

Can't drop Gus, we have no one to replace him with yet. He pretty well smashed Cam Wood tonight, it was the Collingwood midfield rucking to Grahams's tap work that smashed us early.

Rance & McGuane will walk back into the side after suspension
Nahas may be dropped, but he'll probably do better against a side that isn't as developed as Collingwood. He'll never be a player than will stand up in finals football though. Always struggles against bigger bodied sides.
Edwards had a shocker, will be interesting to see what happens with him this week. I still think the coaches love him as he definitely gets to where the ball is and provides an option. We will see in a week's time I guess.

Vickery has to stay in coz he can at least play deep in the forward and kick some goals. Looking for Derrickx to get some match fitness so he can come in for Gus.

McGuane and Rance can go suck some fat ones at Coburg for a while as far as I'm concerned. You don't just waltz back into the side after costing it with poor discipline. Grimesy has been alright i reckon, gets to as many contests as McGuane, is a better kick, and isn't as thick as a turkish merkin. When Moore is back I wouldn't play McGuane or Thursty at all. Moore, Astbury, Grimes, Newman, Deledio, Batchelor as a back 6 has some promise.

Hey CUB are you proposing Astbury play forward? With your ins we'll have Jack at FF and Rance Thursfield McGuane and Astbury in the backline. Feel we may be a little tall for a forward line whose main goalkicker is Lindsay Thomas.

I kinda realised it doesn't fit but Miller is just an absolute SPUD, give Astbury a go as a foil for Jack we are experimenting still aren't we? Lets look to the future and think outside the square a bit. No sheep stations. Miller is not the answer!

Or maybe a Rance misses if Morton goes OK at Coburg after a rocket.
