Vickery conflict of interest goodbye. Probably one of the reasons Tyrone was recruited in the first place.

Hornsby how he survived the Wallace era is a joke really. Players like Thursfield and Edwards are the same tooth picks that arrived at our club years ago. He should be embarrassed when he sees little Blair push our players to the ground.

I would like to see him go seasons end before he ruins the physical development of Astbury, Grimes and Batchelor.

Jack Darling at pick 27 what an absolute steal and what a unit.

What do they feed those blokes in the West seriously and why cant we work our poo out. Glass, Darling, Big Nat all large units.

hey knob, vickery is developing nicely, esp for a guy of his size,

ffs u dont build top teams overnite

and with the conditioning of players, i have been anti honsby for yrs but must admit, we can see major improvements in size over th epast 18 months, one more preseason and we will have some monsters

lids is building good size as in dan connors, not easy to bench 150 kg as easy as he did
even titch is showing improvement

jackson is tough as is haka boy and cotch

we are starting to build, and bachelor looks like a boy who will build up big and fast and does conca

im going to reserve my judgement for another pre season

Bloke your not listening i never said Vickery wasnt developing all i said was why is his old man working for the club. Its a conflict of interest.

Great job his doing as the boxing coach too, waste of money would rather have another weights coach.

As for Titch developing well i think you have been hanging around Infamy too much. He is a rake mate and got owned by Blair/Thomas.

Did you watch the game seriously that was just plain weak.

Jackson is a tough nut and i think we need him so much in our team, especially with these puny alter boys that Wallace recruited.

Hornsby has been in the system for over 5 years and really has failed so why is he still there.

Who cares what Vickery and his old man do. I really don't think it influences the selection.

Yep and Peter Hudson being at Hawthorn when Paul was playing there?

Trying to focus on something that is not there.
Every week Jack you name a player Connors was dropped now you are on Vickery.
Vickery being able to play either ruck or fwd and being a tall in his 3rd season for the sake of his development stays IMHO you should be on the anti Edwards train given the slop he dished up last night 5th season of AFL skill and decision making as well as size pretty much the same as when he walked into the place. :-\

The reason the RFC have been abject failures is because we persist with players who arent up to.
The Vickery situation is of interest and he had knee issues and hardly had a impact at TAC level.
Did his dad influence the selection, i would say yes.
Vickery average 5 possesions a game or less.
if you want us to be bottom 4 for the next 5 years, keep playing Duds.
I want to play Finals, and not be losers.
Vickery efforts against players 6 inches shorter was poor last night
before you slag me, i have spent all after noon watching the replays after being there last night as well.
Also Miller was good last night, at least he put his body in the right spot.

I agree with you there Jack. If the jury was out on this bloke it shouldn't be after that sub standard effort.

Why do you say yes?

Does he have pics of the the coach at the time and recruiting staff in compromising postitions?

Please explain how the (part time?) boxing coach could possibly influence the decision making of the recruiters and football dept?

Can anyone confirm who is still our weights coach. If anyone has any pull at Punt Road can they get rid of this spud before its too late.

Please dont me this bloke is still Part Time as he has been for the last 5 years.

I laugh me head off when i watch the likes of Thursfield at a playing weight of 85kgs against guys like Heath Shaw all heavier and smaller.

We are kididng ourselves if we persist here. I can tell you now players like Nason, Nahas will still look fantasy island characters in 2 years time and Browne will still look a giant pear. Those are the facts we need a change here

WTF would you need another weights coach?  You reckon two of them will make our players twice as big?  Or just halve the amount of time it takes to make sure the new guys have their programs and are doing the work outs correctly?  The workouts related to boxing are fantastic for cardio / dexterity / agility  and if they are doing the kettlebells that a lot of boxers do like Kostya Tzu, they are brilliant for upper body strength and endurance.  Gives those jumper punches a bit more oomf lol

Wrong owl our players are amongst the weakest inthe league. Can't lay tackles if their life depended on it
Thursfield been in the game for what 5 yrs yet still is a toothpick
Did you know we had a p/t weights coach up until recently.
That's a joke. I even heard when wallett was coaching players chose  their own gym program

How long has Hornsby been in the job
I think should clean the lot of them out. Time to start fresh

Size is not the only pre requisite for laying good tackles! Techniques need to be sound also!
I also wonder if weights sessions are compromised for other sessions which may include structures and skills development?
Things are crook when we start blaming the weights and boxing coach!
