Alan Toovey, like out-of-contract teammates

John McCarthy, is on the outer after negotiations stalled. The manager of Toovey emailed all clubs advising his client was on the market and would leave the club after being offered insufficient terms. Toovey is understood to want $350,000 a year for two years.
St Kilda is willing to move on
Jason Gram. North Melbourne are interested.
The Saints have also entertained talks about
Zac Dawson,
Brett Peake,
Farren Ray and
Tom Lynch.
The Bulldogs have expressed interesed in getting back
Farren Ray. The Dogs were also interested in Demon
Matthew Bate.
The Bulldogs have four out-of-contract players on the trade table
Dylan Addison,
Sam Reid,
Brennan Stack and
Josh Hill.
Carlton has put
Setanta O'hAilpin and
Paul Bower on the trade table.
North Melbourne has inquired about Melbourne's
Addam Maric, having already held talks with him. It also sought
Josh Toy from the Gold Coast, which rejected the inquiry.
North was prepared to discuss a trade for
Gavin Urquhart,
Ben Warren and
Matt Campbell.
Hawthorn has offered its first pick, No. 24, to Adelaide for forward
Jack Gunston, but the Crows have baulked at the initial offer.

The Hawks were understood to have made a three-year offer to Geelong defender
Tom Gillies who remains on contract.
