Perhaps this is the big fish to make the grumpy old men happy?

A poster on BF is swearing black and blue that Sentana  O'Helpless is a dead set to be at Richmond next year.
:chuck  :help
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Even putting aside the fact that he is useless, what possible use would we have for Setanta?
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

Would of offered North Melbourne either Edwards/Foley/Griffiths for Hamish McIntosh. Maybe even 2 of them
POINTLESS offerring rubbish players.

Would of all tried to get Jarrod Waite for say a Griffiths.and a pick"

And yet Nathan Brown, Troy Simmonds and Kane Johnstone were past their best?

Thing that poos me is all the talk before the week that we were going to be active and 'land a big fish' and it all turns out to be total crap (thus far).

I don't care whether we trade or not as long as we keep improving and drafting well but it would be nice to lose the spin, which poos me more than anything else the admin do.

Don't go down the path of 'changing the fact to suit the story' TBR.  The "big fish" comment was made by Hardwick at this years Fighting Fund launch in February and the Hun article at the time said:

"RICHMOND coach Damien Hardwick says wiping the club's debt will put the Tigers in a position to nab a big fish when free agency begins next year.

As revealed in the Herald Sun this morning, The Tigers today announced their Fighting Tiger Fun which aims to raise $6 million from fans to clear the club's debt and build the football department.

Hardwick said Richmond had not been able to compete with the offers of other clubs when stars such as Chris Judd had come on the market.

Next year players will have more freedom to move between clubs, and the Tigers hope to be building a young list towards becoming a top-four challenger.

Hardwick said the money raised through the fund would allow the club to retain its stars by paying 100 per cent of its salary cap, and create a "war chest" to recruit the best available talent."

No mention or promise of "big fish" this year and you should at least cut the club the slack of waiting until the end of trade week to lambast it for not being active.  Just because the club says it intends to be active doesn't mean it automatically can be.  What if there are simply no trades that suit us?  Would you rather we trade our arses off just for the sake of it, regardless of long term benefit/outcome?

one thing is for certain.
We dont play finals in 2012., we will have a mutiny at punt road.

why are you so effing negative. just wait and see mate. or do you really want to say "i told you so" that badly?

WELL I AINT THE CLUB, I DIDNT COME OUT AND SAY WE WOULD PLAY FINALS 3 TIMES BY 2014.
THAT MEANS FINALS 2012/2013/2014

And last time I looked it was still 2011 so the above statement can still very easily come to fruition.  Your point Jack?

The only thing that is predictable is that you will come on here and tell us how great we were during trade week, selling the same old lines to the supporters year in year out. Isnt 30 years of failure enough for you Mr Blaisee? Dont Richmond supporters deserve better? As I said before, seen this movie too many times but I will wait until Monday.

why wont you even give a clue as to what will be a pass mark so we know how close the club gets?
