Don't go down the path of 'changing the fact to suit the story' TBR.  The "big fish" comment was made by Hardwick at this years Fighting Fund launch in February and the Hun article at the time said:

LMAO at TBR getting the blame for starting this :lol :lol :lol :lol

 :lol

Your turn TFT.  I didn't blame TBR for starting it, just highlighted his use of fibs as facts - pretty much what you have just done yourself.  :P

But in all seriousness, to respond to some of the posters in this thread, they seem to think the club is loaded up with complete dumb-arses that wouldn't know how to manage a half-decent nose-blowing session, let alone a football club.  Thankfully, that isn't the case and most of us on here know that.

..more from that bottomless pit of rumours, BF.

Quote
Hey Lads not a regular on her however I have just spoken to tiger club offical and can confirm the following that you might not be aware of:

Matt White has been shopped around as a possibile trade however there has been minimal interest.

However the big one I am hearing is that an intersate club has shown an interest in Dan Jackson and the tigers are considering off loading him (given his onfield indiscreations) for picks which could be on traded to Adelaide for Maric.

Also watch for the tigers to make a play for Tom Gillies at Geelong. Three 3yr offer on the table !!

Even putting aside the fact that he is useless, what possible use would we have for Setanta?

DeepThroat now has a new multi-club trade spiel ...

"Pretty much correct, I stated that DJ was no longer required by DH after his last suspension, we made a play for Tom Gillies last year as well, I also posted that, so dig it up doubters, but he was promised more game time with new coach. The cats are in a corner because if he doesn't get much game time next year he will be gone, DJ has been discussed. Pick 15 will get the deal done, I also stated last year that we were after Tom Lynch and now a year later he is going, don't be surprised if Tom G deal falls over that Tom L is followed through by the tigers as he is rated by Blair and co as a defender not a forward.

Also remember I stated last week that we may not have our first 3 picks and our compo pick this year and we would have to be trading back into the top 40 again. "

----------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry guys.

Pick 15 and DJ for Tom Gillies and pick 26 or pick 40 odd( geel) geel may on trade DJ.

Luke macgaune and pick 55 for pick 33?? ( bris lions pick)
Pick 33 or 37 plus Connors for Ivan Maric & Tony Armstrong
Tony Armstrong will be traded to Sydney for a pick 40 odd.

Or

Pick 37 plus connors for Ivan Maric and a Pick that will be finalized at end of trading.

Or

Pick 15 to Hawks, hawks use pick 15 to on trade to crows for Gunston

We get Ivan and pick 24

We lose pick 15 & 55 and gain 24 and maric

Crows lose maric and Gunston and gain pick 15 and 55,

We trade 24 for Tom gillies straight swap.

These are some of the scenarios at the moment."

----------------------------------------------------------------

"Hawks lose pick 24 for pick 15 that's saves us pick 37,

We get a hawks player or a player on traded to us by hawks as well don't know who yet.

You would be surprised how scenarios are on the table this week."

one thing is for certain.
We dont play finals in 2012., we will have a mutiny at punt road.

why are you so effing negative. just wait and see mate. or do you really want to say "i told you so" that badly?

WELL I AINT THE CLUB, I DIDNT COME OUT AND SAY WE WOULD PLAY FINALS 3 TIMES BY 2014.
THAT MEANS FINALS 2012/2013/2014

They said it was an aim. If you took it as a promise/guarantee that's your problem. You can be a 1 man mutiny for all i care. Ill still be there supporting in 2013.

Am I the only one that is a bit stumped that we 'seem' to be going balls and all for maric yet we hear boo about Renouf and Seaby?

and before the do gooders start saying "just bc its not reported doesnt mean they arent enquiring" - remember in this industry where there is smoke there is fire and there is no doubt we are almost tunnel visioned in our quest to get maric, if we were showing any interest elsewhere it would be leaked especially at this time.

btw hope rumours arent true that we opened negotiations with the crows with our 2nd rounder on the table  :lol  :whistle

I am actually a little bit stumped as to why our powers to be yell from the roof tops how active and aggresive we will be during drade week and we haven't even let out a yelp yet....and probably won't!!!!

We need a ruckman and another defender........get to it Tigers..Maric and Toovey, then get rid of Edwards for a pick, McGuane for a pick and Jackson for something... :thumbsup

Think that's exactly how we started since it was reported by the Crows after day one of the meet and greets that our offer of pick 37 wasn't enough.
