suits me that they leave our players out.  keeps them lower profile and under the radar.  As they said, Lids was crapping all over Harry O'nuffnuff when he got picked before him so its all horsecrap anyway.  Let em fill it will scumwood players for all I care.  Nothing counts except the grand final.

No real surprise only Lids got a gig. Jack was down on goalscoring output this year, Newy got injured, and Cotch and Dusty aren't yet at that consistent level to be named alongside the premier mids in the comp. (they should be in the next year or two).

Lids' stats stack up strong from that list as far as a HBFer. I reckon he may get into the final 22.

B:     Davis     Glass     Gibson
HB:  Enright    Reid     Deledio
C:    Kelly     Mitchell    Swan
HF: Thomas    Cloke     Selwood
F:   Milne      Franklin   Goodes
R:  Cox    Judd (c)      Ablett (vc)
Int: Murphy, Pendlebury, Thompson, Scotland

Not sure how Fyfe made the squad but dusty didnt? Martin has kicked 33 goals, 20+assists and has had more impact in more games than most players let alone Fyfe (yep he had some quiet ones too) but Fyfe's output this season has been ridiculously overhyped. Also how does Selwood make the squad after missing 6 games??? Davis has missed 4 also - if Lids gets beaten to a spot by another Harry o bc of the hype..... Surely he will make it, gets more inside 50's than most midfielders and gets more first possession than any other rebounding defenders.

ROBERT MURPHY?

Just about the worst All Aus selection you'd ever see.

How Gibson isn't in there I don't know.

Deledio, Scotland, Birchall all had better years than Leon Davis. Robert Murphy? You have got to be joking?

you'd have to be bloody joking, how on earth is Murphy judged better than Lids, less I50's, less clearances, less goals and less average possies, but yep you guessed it old muffin chops contends he had a better year...i reckon paul the octopus would do a better job selecting the side than these clowns :lol
